8.11 This messenger isn't a matchmaker

Atlas narrowed his eyes at Kaiser. He didn't like the way he was being read. He indeed didn't have to make sure that Evander and Renan ended up together, but he felt like they deserved the best after their horrible end in the original timeline.

Even if Renan married Davian, he was unhappy. Renan would always stay at home, and one day, he wandered into Evander's room.

It had been a year since Evander killed himself. His father had just left the room to collect dust, so Renan thought that maybe he could clean it.

When he entered, he saw all the poems Evander had written, including one that he had written for Renan. He realized that he had made a mistake that cost the life of the person he actually loved.

After that, he became depressed and spent all his time in Evander's room, smelling his clothes, and being around his belongings.

He would even sleep there when Davian wouldn't come home. Between running Zephyr Inc and Jonas Tech, Davian was hardly home.
