The Ice and The Octopus

After a few matches of wins, Bo-Han, Kai, Shiba, Miaysaki, Marko surprisingly, and I am left. The matches are Kai vs. Shiba, Miysaki vs. Marko, leaving me against Bo-Han. I've studied Bo-Han's tactics, attacks, and strategies. Let's hope I don't end up on the ground. Soon the next competition is up and my name was called.

"Good luck Anzai," Kokizaki says.

"We wish you the best of luck," Akio says blowing me a kiss.

Miyasaki runs to me and hugs me, "Win for okay?" She leans in for a kiss and my eyes open. This is the first time someone has kissed me. It feels warm, welcoming, and good. I felt like I've been shocked awake. She soon let's go.

"Y-yeah, I will," I smile.

I walk out to the stadium and the crowd cheers at me. I look to the opposite side of me and see Bo-Han. We walk up to each other and shake each others' hands.

"Let's have a good match okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, be careful, I'm going all out," she smiles.

"Trust me...we will win," Instinct says and I nod in response.

We then walk to our sides and wait for the time the match starts.

"Alright, everyone! This is the quarter-finals! Anzai Sharaku vs. Bo-Han! You two know the rules, no bloodshed, and the first to stay up is the winner!" Ms. Sullivan says, "Let the fight start in 3, 2, 1, fight!"

For a few minutes, Bo-Han and I circle around the stadium until she starts charging at me, shooting ice shards at me. I was able to dodge the shards and my hand turned into metal grey and shoot a large beam of a laser at her. For the most part, she was able to dodge, but I shot out another beam, hitting her chest, causing her to fly back to the wall. In anger, Bo-Han charged at me and I swept her feet caused her to fall, but she went from in front of me behind me and got me low, causing me to fall. I was stuck, she got one foot on me and froze it so it felt like thousand tons are on top of me. She then beat me to a pulp, but I then blocked most of her punches but mostly got hit.

"Do it," Instinct says, "I'm a full charge!"

I nod and I shot out a larger beam at Bo-Han, causing her to fly up. But I then remember the stadium has a force field, I was able to push the beam higher with my hands, causing Bo-Han to get shocked by my beam and the force field altogether. After the attack she fell to the ground, knocked.

"We have a winner!" Ms. Sullivan says in the intercom.

I walk up to Bo-Han and leave my hand out, "Hey, good game let me help you up."

"Damn you," she slaps my hand out and gets up on her own.

"Can you walk?" I ask.

"Yeah," she says, limping to her side of the exit as I walk to my exit.

I walk to the lobby and meet up with the others. A few matches have gone by, Miyasaki won over Marko and Shiba and Kai's fight has been going on for a while. None of them are resting, but ice and fire all over the place causing steam that covers the whole area. It wasn't long until the smoke clears out and to my surprise, Shiba won. It looked like a tough fight, both have suffered many injuries so the administrators decided to have 3 winners as there were to have a 3 free for all and the final to stand would win, but it would cause chaos within many of the elements.

"So, we're winners huh?" I ask.

"I assume so," Shiba says, holding an ice pack to her shoulder.

"Well, better than one of us at least," Miyasaki says.

"I'm off to the dorms, I'll see you gals later," I say.

"Cya," the two say.

I've been walking on my way home until I pass the fountain and saw something weird. It looked like a tentacle. Of course, being the idiot I am, I touched it and it grabbed my arm. "W-What the?" I say, trying to pull it off my hand. It was sticky can I felt it sucking on my arm causing it to activate Insticnt and my strength overtook the tentacle. I then pulled out of the tentacle and following it was a girl. She popped out of the fountain. Her skin has a very light purplish look has her hair a darker color. Below her top, her legs were tentacles like an octopus or a squid, quite interesting to see sea creatures here.

"Ara,~ you were able to take over my strength," she says.

"Y-yeah," I say, standing back

"What's wrong? You scared of a Kraken?" She asks.

"N-no, I'm just shocked why you are doing here," I say, hiding my fear. Krakens were only mythical creatures, I didn't know that they actually exist.

"Ara, getting straight to the point without an introduction?" the girl says, getting out of the fountain.

"S-sorry about that, I'm Anzai Sharaku, second year," I say.

"Manaki Taji, the d year, so you should be calling me senpai,~, she says.

"I guess you're right," I say, "wait don't you have a dorm?"

"Hehe, about that, I was forced to get out of my room, now I'm supposed to meet someone for a new room," she says.

"Come to think of it, I did get a text from Ms. Sullivan that I am supposed to have a new roommate," I say.

"Oh, well that must be me" she giggles.

"Alright, follow me, I was heading to my dorm anyway," I say.

Manaki and I walked to our dorms and we headed inside. I decided to take a shower and have Manaki unpack whatever she needs and make herself at home. As usual, aking a shower while having girls in my room concerns me, but I decided to let my guard down as she walks behind me. "I hope you don't mind if I wash your back for you Anzi,~" I hear as I feel something soft press against me.

"S-senpai! U-uh...s-sure," I stuttered. Manaki starts to wash my pack and then to my hair. Her tentacles messaged my body, it felt really nice. It really wasn't long until I pass out due to the relaxing feeling. It wasn't soon enough before I collapsed and fell asleep.
