Is this our time?

Three years ago (2019), Czkea and Qyuni got married. All their relatives, friends, and professors were invited to their wedding. The entire clan celebrated, and after a year, they were blessed with their own house and land. Czkea worked as a Web Developer in the 1k Group of Companies, while Qyuni became the Chairman of their Family Company.

After one year (2020), the couple started their own business, and Qyuni dedicated more time to it, stepping away from her Family Company. Gredor, Qyuni's elder brother, was set to inherit the family business. They purchased land to establish a farm and a vacation home near Tarlac, close to where they lived.

In 2021, the couple decided to start a family, and in September, Qyuni confirmed her pregnancy. The entire family rejoiced as they had been eagerly anticipating this moment for a long time. Despite the five-year gap in their journey, Czkea and Qyuni overcame life's challenges and were on the verge of success.

On May 14, 2022, their youngest, a girl named Queenie, was born. Qyuni suggested the name as she was their first daughter, and they planned to have more children in the coming years.

"This is Our Time," said Czkea to Qyuni.

Qyuni mentioned, "Mamang (Inang) might need our help next Sunday, and Lolo isn't feeling well either. The Will of Contract for Gredor still needs attention."

Czkea assured, "No problem, Adi. My workplace is nearby, so it's no hassle. But it's a bit scary; it feels like I've been given a responsibility in case something happens to Lolo, Adi."

The couple laughed, seemingly happy and comfortable with each other. Every night, when Czkea returned home, he took care of Queenie, while Qyuni took the time to rest.

Two hours later, Czkea put their daughter to sleep. As Queenie slept peacefully, Czkea received an email from 1k Group of Companies, offering a promotion and an invitation from 500GoC for a five-month-long lock-in project, with potential earnings exceeding 8 million pesos.

Excitedly, Czkea showed Qyuni the email, but her mood changed.

"Why, Adi? Is there a problem?" asked Czkea.

"There is. Didn't you promise to help Mamang and Lolo?" replied Qyuni.

Czkea tried to reassure, "Adi, it's next month, so no worries. Your mother also said the documents need to be ready by tomorrow afternoon. We can't say no to important matters."

But tensions rose as Qyuni expressed concern about the responsibilities that might be neglected. However, Czkea reassured her, emphasizing the support of their family and their ability to overcome challenges.

The next day, news came that the documents needed to transfer the family company to Gredor were still missing. They decided that some family members would go to Manila to check the office for the needed papers. Czkea agreed to accompany them after informing his supervisor.

Meanwhile, heavy rain and a sudden power outage added to the challenges. Czkea's attempt to reassure Qyuni about the job opportunity further strained their relationship, as Qyuni felt neglected in the face of familial responsibilities.

The situation worsened when Qyuni received a call about an accident involving her grandparents. Panic set in, and Qyuni rushed to their home, unintentionally causing a minor car accident on the way.
