IF YOU SMILE INFRONT OF A MAN YOU TEND TO GIVE THEM WRONG IMPRESSION

CHAPTER 15

CHAPTER 15

[[THREE YEARS LATER]]

"Since you have a great capability, you will be the one to take care of our well-reserved client" A woman with an authoritative voice spoke.

"Yes ma'am," Tasha said as she headed to the assigned post. When she arrived at the door, he drew the door open and saw a man struggling to get to his wheelchair.

The man was wearing an expensive raven suit, he was old and feeble and Tasha could tell simply, by his gunmetal grey hair and his wrinkled face, in Tasha's mind he looked as though he was in his seventies. Tasha watched as he placed his hands on the huge bed and tried to lift himself.

With a lot of concern, the girl ran quickly to his side.

"Grandpa, hold on, I will help you" the young girl's voice yelled. When she was about to help him, the old man shoved her hands away.

"Go away, I don't need your help, get it, am not weak at all," he gestured, " I can do it by myself," he said with a frail voice trying hard to lift himself.

Frustrated, Tasha moved few steps backward, as her eyes gazed sharply at him. She gasped when she realized that the man had strong potential, he had the hope and longings to walk with his feet again, it had been a year ever since he was met with an accident.

Let's see how you help yourself Mr.oldy, I bet you can't even move a muscle, the girl sighed as she held her hands akimbo.

"Wait and watch, I will show everyone that am not helpless," The old man pointed in the girl's direction awkwardly as he nodded his head. Probably trying to challenge her. When he had just managed to wake up, he was almost to fall on the ground but luckily, the girl was there to support her in time.

"See, this was what I was talking about Mr.arrogant, you should have let me help you, what would you have done if you end up injuring yourself. .huh. . ."

"Okay. . .Okay. . . would you stop, yelling," Mr.Gleason gestured by lifting his hands, "If it weren't for you distracting me, l would have helped myself." He said with an angry face.

"Now what did I do, oldy,"

"Why did you have to smile. . umm,. . ." the old man's eyebrows knitted upwards trying to get an answer from Tasha.

Tasha confusingly smiled when he listened to what he had said, she didn't understand a thing.

" Smile?" She repeated his words, her face determined to know what he was talking about.

"Beauties like you Don't understand a thing, do you know a smile like yours can risk your heart getting imprisoned?" He asked.

"No...I Don't" Tasha gave an awkward look.

"What's your name?"

"T. .tasha". Tasha's voice stammered as she responded to the old man's question.

"Okay Tasha, nowadays if you smile with a man, you tend to give the wrong impression, especially, if your smile can give light to the night." When Tasha heard his words her face reddened.

The old man watched as the brightest smile escaped from her lips, he didn't expect her to smile again, he rolled his eyes as he smiled to himself. He saw her as a goddess, with an immense beauty that drew in his eyes.

"Come on, let me give you a hand," Assuming what he had said, Tasha helped him on the chair, as soon as the man stood on his feet, Tasha helped him to put his legs in the right position then, locked the wheels in place. Her long hair kept on falling in front of her face when she helped him, and she would tend to tuck the hair behind her ears.

"Now it's done, grandpa," Tasha said in victory.

"Do I look old to you, I am a graduate my language is fluent and I still haven't forgotten how to write and the least important thing my memory is like an electric wire, boom. . . " raising both of his hands. "So nobody dares to call me a grandpa, and if anyone dares to, I won't hesitate to slit their throat. "Mr. Gleason explained with funny body language.

At first, Tasha's eyes grew wide with fear, because of his threats but at the same time found his words funny. When Tasha heard his complaint he couldn't hold back her laughter. Mr. Gleason stopped talking and instead stared at her amusingly.
