Wedding Preparations.

I stood in a stunned silence in response to what the father had just said. A chill ran down my spine and my hairs stood on end.

"Marriage?" I repeated. The word emerged from my mouth breathlessly, like I wasn't sure if I could even say it out loud.

"Yes." The father placed his hand on Tael's shoulder and squeezed a bit. "Tael made a deal with me." He motioned to Onii-san's hand.

"Heal Kenji Fujima in exchange for his cooperation with the marriage proposal." He smiled devilishly, like he already knew that this deal was absurdly evil, but he did not care.

I glanced towards Tael to see his expression, but he was looking down towards the ground. His large purple hat was covering his face from my view, but at the very edge of his fingertips I could see a faint quivering.

"W-Wait! Tael-san can't get married!" Erana blurted out. Her eyes were wide and her face was unnaturally stern.
