It was quiet.

After a moment that went on for an eternity, Jaq began to cough out blood. His legs gave out, and his voice disappeared.

"J-JA-" I began to call out, but my shout was quickly interrupted by Jask kicking Jaq as hard as he could, launching him into the mountainside.

With a disgusting squelch, Jask crushed Jaq's heart in his hand and shook the blood away.

"I hate getting my hands dirty…" He muttered.

I couldn't focus on the Hell Guardian. I need to save Jaq! RIGHT NOW.

I attempted to leap away, but my movement was interrupted by Jask as he intercepted my movement path. My body automatically moved my katana in the way to block Jask's punch, but I was still sent flying backwards due to the force of the attack.

Ron started to run towards Jaq, but he was also quickly stopped when Jask took notice of him.
