"They believe it's my fault that their friend is dead, so they wanted to enact revenge." Kenji answered.

"I see… And these two, have you interacted with them on a personal level before?"

"Not that I know of. We may have drank at a bar in the past, but I never did anything that involved us specifically."

"Uh huh… And so that means that this was a random act which you, to the best of your knowledge, did not intend to cause?"

Kenji's annoyance was evident on his face.

"Yeah. It was a random act. I did not invite them to do this, nor did I have any idea that they WOULD do this. I was just as surprised as everyone else here was when they came into my room."
