Erana and Kany’s Hot Spring Experience!

Before we are able to continue with the story of Kenji and Tael as they relax in their hot spring experience, we must turn back the clock several minutes and assume the perspective of Erana.

The stone floor clacked against our shoes as we walked further and further into the hot springs. The steam and moisture in the air made my skin feel sticky. My clothes are becoming more and more suffocating as the heat of the building gradually rises with each of my steps. The only reason I even agreed to go here was because Kenji-san and Tael-san insisted on it…

The blonde woman walked backwards as she led us deeper into the building. "Rule 4: You are not allowed to scream when you enter the baths. For dwarves I wouldn't tell them this, but for humans like yourselves it can be a bit jarring the first time."

Kany quickly stole a glance towards me. Her awkward demeanor spoke volumes of the uncomfortable sensation that was laced with that rule.
