One damn scary bee.

Our goal is simple - to beat something as soon as possible. But we were still faced against an issue.

"I- don't see the wormhole. Is it just really high up?" I looked around, but there wasn't one I could see.

"Good question. How about we just fly up until we other hit the ceiling or see it?" Blood suggested.

"Sounds great. Let's go up." Simple solutions are often the best.

Since we wanted to get there fast, the best way is to use the manipulators. I stood on top of two and held onto the other ones.

In a burst of wind we shot up, and soon enough a wormhole was in sight. Without hesitation, we went right through, only to find ourselves submerged in..

A gooey liquid. Some got in my mouth, and it had a familiar, sweet taste I used to enjoy all the time as a kid. Not like I'm old or anything; I'm only 19.

We're inside a huge pool of honey. It's too dark to se anything, plus I'm gonna run out of air in an hour, so I should get out.

At first, I wanted to see how wide my honey cage was, and so I stretched out my hands. I felt walls on both sides. I tried swimming up and ended up hitting my head against a ceiling.

Eh, I could burst trough that.

I pushed against the ceiling with a bit of force and the "lid" easily came off.

Taking a look around, I only just realized where I was. There was huge glowing crystal in the middle of the room, just like the ones under the floating islands, only this one was yellow.

It was there as a source of light, and thanks to that I was able to see the whole picture.

"So this whole floor is one large bees nest. And we were locked inside one of the hexagons in which bees hatch." I always had a love for insects, and having to kill massive bees didn't excite me much.

"And you're telling me the bees that come out of these hexagons will be human sized. Aren't bees supposed to be good though?" So Blood also doesn't slide with mass murder of bees.

First and foremost, I just wanna wash myself. I'm literally soaked in honey, and it doesn't feel comfortable in the slightest. Luckily, I have a load of high level monster blood to wash myself with.

~~~
Having cleaned both me and the goat head, we went along the hive. So far, it was just the hexagonal pattern repeating itself, until we finally reached a room.
It was the heart of the hive, the largest room of them all, the diameter being around 50 meters.
"You've come at the right time." A female voice rung from behind.
I instantly turned around with a manipulator in my left hand, extended teeth on the right hand, and the three manipulators behind me.
"Oops. I didn't mean to alarm you. You must have been surprised by my appearance, considering that there isn't a single one of my loyal workers present in the hive." This person had an entrancing appearance.
"Then you must be-" She could be dangerous.
"Yes. I'm the queen of this hive, and that puts you in the position of a worker. Or a slave, if you'd call it that." What is she talking about.
"And why in the world would I listen to you? I'm probably stronger than the level 10 boss with my stats. It takes me nothing to slit your throat right now." I was a little uneasy.
"Phaha, ha. Funny one." She burst out laughing at my remark.
I stood guard, feeling like something was definitely up. Her presence wasn't as heavy as the retired hero's when I first met him, but I felt shivers go down my spine.
"Did I say something wrong?" I carefully continued.
"Yes, you did." She said softly, with a smile.
This tone.. I speak in the same tone when I'm about to do pull something off.
I felt a sudden fear and dashed back to the opposite side of the room.
"Oh, you have some good instincts to back up your power. I see, I see." She spoke from behind me again.
"So.. what exactly did I say wrong?" I was trying hard not to shake. Just what kind of monster is she?
"The level 10 boss is long dead." Her expression remained the same.
"Huh?" Blood exclaimed out of nowhere.
"What happened to hi-"
"I killed him." She stopped hiding her presence, and an immense pressure brought me down to my knees.
She stared me in the eyes. I was shaking.
My keyboard broke and writing on a phone is a pain in the ass. There may be a few typos, so please forgive me.
Hope you enjoyed~
