BONUS CHAPTER Blade POV at the Bar

"Drink this and cool down kitten"

I smiled down at her as she gulped the drink, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, so unsophisticated but so so charming.

It was crazy to think about, how far we had come, I'd just been fucking with her at my office that first day but when I overheard she'd never been kissed I realised her reactions to me were instinctive and genuine. I fucking loved that she couldn't control her reactions to me, I only had to run a single finger down her arm and she'd shiver in response. Helpless in the face of our passion. She was completely mine and I loved it.

The thing is though, it wasn't just sexual, since she'd been staying with me we would laugh and talk for hours and even if I could never kiss her again I would want this girl in my life! I really felt like I could be falling for her. She's so sweet and so feisty and damn she's funny.. although not usually on purpose!

I liked her on a personal level not just for her body, the thing is though, her reactions make teasing her too tempting - she'll be hissing and spitting like a little wildcat but I put my hands on her and she starts purring like a kitten - the girl had never been attracted to anyone but with me she can't contain herself! It's an addicting feeling knowing she wants me.. not my power or money.

I looked down at her affectionately as she screwed her eyes closed.. obviously embarrassed to ask me something.. but when she spoke - asking me to stay with her tonight - my heart thumped. I couldn't believe I had found someone like her. Selfless and sweet but with claws.

Not responding right away, delighted to watch her squirm, I felt someone watching me so glanced up and my whole body froze in fear.

I couldn't respond to Tashas shy request now as my whole being attuned to the movements of the predator in our midst.

Katrina. Insane.. and deadly.

If I hadn't known she was locked away during Flora's murder I would have suspected she was involved.. she didn't allow any females around me..

I needed to do damage control to protect Tasha. I could only hope I could win her back later once the danger passed. I hoped I was strong enough to stay away from her and to hurt her to protect her. If she knew what Katrina was capable of.. I dreaded to think.

Katrina had lied to me about being pregnant and miscarrying but when she hurt the twins, my younger brother and sister, I knew I needed to deal with her. I needed to know why the fuck they'd released her and I needed to do it quick so I could win Tasha back.

The thing is I fucking know if I told Tash everything she'd back me 100 percent but I can't risk her like that.

"Blade, I see you've been keeping my place in your bed warm with this cheap girl but I'm back now so tell her to run along"

My little wildcat dove straight in but I couldn't let her get involved and so I did the only thing I could do. I made her think she was less important to me than Katrina.
