#Chapter4

Cien-

She was even more mesmerising up close. I had to take a second and leave the room before I ended up losing control. Her scent, it was irreplaceable, though away from her, I could still smell her sweet heavenly scent that felt both like a blessing and a curse. It was intoxicating, I couldn’t get it out of my head and all I wanted to do was go back into that room and sink my teeth into her flesh and drink her dry of the crimson that flowed smoothly through her veins.

Every bidder who won at the auction was given a luxury room to spend a week in, all expenses paid by the host, it was not only a way of thanking us for buying from them and also, it was a week to decide if we were happy with our item, if not, we had a week to return it, they would then buy back what was sold to us, except, it would be half of the price of what we paid for, then they would resell that item.

A week. I had a week with this human girl to know if I wanted to keep her and yet, I was already sure of my decision from the second I set my eyes upon her rare and delicate form.

She was enticing, truly one of a kind and the closer I was to her, the more I could see my past lover and it pissed me off.

Walking back into the room, I rubbed over the stubbles on my jaw as I side glanced at the human girl who was still trapped in her given cage, she’d have to stay there for awhile until I got her a bigger cage to live in. It was both for her protection and mine, she was better off being locked away from me.

Taking off my blazer and setting it on the back of chair in the luxury penthouse that was given specifically to me, I ran my fingers over the table edge and studied my fingertips, no dust, good. They kept it extra clean for me, the highest bidder out of all the bidders would get the best penthouse room in the building. It was more like a hotel, the entire place was filled with luxurious furniture, four bedrooms that we didn’t need, an enormous living room, three bathrooms, a large kitchen, a bar at the ends of the living room, a balcony that faced the city with a swimming pool and a sauna. Had I been at a level of others, I would be amazed by this place but I was above others therefore, very little amazed me, if anything.

/"So- what are we doing here? Who are you? What is a blood slave? Why did you pay so much for me?/"

Did my human possession dare speak without being spoken to? Of course she didn’t know the rules yet and I had to kindly explain them all to her.

Taking in a deep breath, I turned and set my eyes upon her fragile petite form. She was scrawny, too scrawny, I could practically count the bones in her body. It was disgusting.

/"We are here because I have purchased you. I am your master. A blood slave is something you will find out soon and I paid so much for you because I felt like it./"

I answered her questions as I strode over to her cage, standing there tall and proud, I watched her crane her neck back so that she could look at me.

/"I purchased you so that means that you are my property, which then also means that you follow my rules./"

I watched her raise her brows in curiosity as I continued-

/"Rule number one: speak when you’re spoken to.

Rule number two: if I say jump, you jump. Anything I say, you obey without a question.

Rule number three: you will refer to me as master at all times.

Rule number four: never, ever, bother me, you are only free to do things that I allow you to do, anything else is forbidden.

There are many rules for you to learn, but for now, these few will do./"

I thought she would be surprised or even afraid but instead, there was a hint of smirk cornering her plump lips as she studied me with those enchanting eyes.

/"And what happens if I don’t follow your ‘rules’…. Master?/"

The word master trailed off her tongue so smoothly yet so sarcastically as she shot me a killer smile that I wanted to so badly smack off her face.

/"1 billion. I bought you. I own your life, do not push me into taking it away from you./"

I could hear her heartbeat increasing, although she kept herself composed, I could hear just how nervous she was from my words.

/"So you’ll kill me then?/"

She muttered, that devious smirk no longer circling her features as she moved forward in her cage and held onto the bars.

/"Rule number one: speak when you’re spoken to./"

I quoted myself before stepping away from her and slowly undoing the buttons on my shirt, without turning to look at her, I answered her question.

/"I will end your life without a seconds hesitation./"

And thankfully, that shut her up, staying quiet for the rest of the time being, I managed to get some work done, I had to plan an event at my private club, I owned several clubs throughout the city and even in different cities, I found some sort of enjoyment out of watching drunk people be pathetic, though that’s how I usually found my meals too. Most of them women- willingly begged for me to drink from them but this one- she had fire within her, one that was burning bright and clear.

Done with my work, I stood up and looked towards the human pet that was sitting there silently in her cage. That’s right. I forgot that humans need to eat food, ordering her something to eat, I headed over to her cage, crouching down before her, I tilted my head to the side, studying her as she gazed back into my eyes.

/"Your food will be here soon but after that… it’s my time to eat./"

She watched me silently, unwilling to question me though I knew that she was curious as what I meant by that statement.

/"I hope your body can take it./"

I said before she furrowed her brows in confusion as she asked;

/"Take what?/"

I pushed back a smirk as I pressed my lips together before reaching through the bars of the cage and grabbing a strand of her dark locks, it felt like silk between my fingers. I wanted to pull on it.

/"Take me drinking your blood./"
