CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Director Yearwood
Usually, people knock when they enter my office. But Raeina was a Queen in her time and even though it has been close to a thousand years since then, she still does not consider anyone's authority above hers. So, when she walks into my office late at night, without so much as a knock, I just sigh, "You look well."
"That child is a handful."
I raise a brow, "Child? I see Tayor has graduated from 'that little beast.’"
Raeina gracefully arranges herself in the visitor's chair across from me. "She is foolish and impulsive, but a child, nonetheless. Perhaps, I was a bit hasty in my condemnation of her."
Her words take me aback. "You like her."
She looks amused, "She's got guts. It's been a long time since someone had the courage to insult me to my face."
My brows furrow at her revelation. "Has Taylor been disrespectful towards you?"
