Xiao Niao's Adventure in the Kingdom (1)

Xiao Niao nodded her head and retracted her skill, which made the guy let go of her.

"Hoho~! Even though you're not a Qi Beast you're quite smart! Follow me, I got a place specially reserved beforehand."

"Puaah~~! This beer is one of the best in the kingdom!"

"Glad you like is, old Shuang."

"I told you to stop calling me old! Geez... I don't know why I let you get away with everything...!"

'Oh~ this is pretty good...'

This situation..... she had followed the man as they had snuck out through a back door and headed to a building with a large red sign. Unfortunately, her Universal Language couldn't translate written words for her, but it wasn't that bad.

And, as the guy said, the moment they entered a worker had greeted them and led to a room on the second floor.

Xiao Niao was a little skeptical since the room was completely closed off, and there was another guy with short dark blue hair sitting at the table in the middle of the room. That thought quickly vanished though when the food was served~!

Beautifully roasted duck, pure white rice that resembled small crystals, and delicious drinks! AN: I wonder if eating roast duck is cannibalism...

Xiao Niao was like an eating machine...! Three entire dishes and she ate all of them. Even the other two looked at her with a dumbfounded expressions. They saw it with their own eyes and still couldn't believe it. No way in heck did that bird eat everything. Was there a black hole in her stomache or something?

"Old Shuang.... you're paying the bill... right?"

"Unfortunately so..."

Only after three more large dishes and a few drinks, did she feel stuffed. Old Shuang had reluctantly paid up, but she couldn't focus on anything for some reason. Like her head was spinning round and round but she also felt good and sick at the same time?

"Old Shuang.... I think your bird is drunk..?"

"huh?"

The yellow haired man turned his head, and she was walking in circles with invisible tiny birds flying round above her head. Xiao Niao kinda looked like one of those toy birds that you wind up to make it walk.

It was kinda like how the system, had automatically started healing her after the Jaguar attack, but this time... since it wasn't a big danger, the system had to ask for confirmation first. In pretty much anyone's opinion telling a drunk person that they're drunk and asking to be 'healed', wasn't the greatest idea.

'Drunk? Hmm... I donno... is it edibke? Noahh!'

The system already gave a sigh of helplessness. It had been silently watching everything that happened, and it really wanted to give Xiao Niao hints, or at least what was the right choice. But it couldn't.

'I just need to eat s'more!'

Xiao Niao had bitten down... on Old Shuang's hand. However she didn't know and kept chomping repeatedly. She was having the delusion of some juicy chicken legs or roast rabbit.

"Haha~! Your bird is truly drunk from the beer it drank!"

"Geez! Just help me get it off!"

"Alright, alright...!"

The blue haired man got up and walked over the Shuang's hand and grabbed the top of Xiao Niao's beak with two fingers. Hehehe.... He's underestimated the power of a parrot's beak. Even after trying to pull the beak off with his full force, the guy only managed to seperated her mouth and Shuang's hand by a little bit.

"Sorry Old Shuang, looks like your stuck like this! haha.."

Shuang could only frown and didn't dare to grab the bird again, after what happened the first time, he still had the small cuts on his other hand! And a bunch of small cuts hurts more than one large cut...

"Well... my wife's waiting for me at home... See ya-!"

"Ah-! Geez..."

That guy already slammed the door on his way out and left Shuang to fend for himself with a big Bird hanging on his left hand and a bunch of cuts on the other, while also paying with his own money. What a sad situation to be in...

He immediately got up and Xiao Niao was still dangling off the side of his palm, and walked out without looking back, the waitress was totally giving him a weird look. (The king had been wearing a brown cloak as a disguise when in public)

On the other hand, literally, you could already see the pink aura of flowers floating in the background.
