She didn't mind the commotion she made when she took the rabbit and ignored it untill the rabbit was finished.

"What's going on?"

Zhang Qianbai came out of the tent because everyone was being so loud.

She definitely knew who that cold voice belonged to. She stopped eating to look down and for sure, it was that prince person.

'Why does that guy always interrupt me when I'm eating?!'

She also ran into him when she was eating the leftovers. How unlucky she was. The prince walked over towards her and glared right into her eyes.

"Get down here."

'Ah-'

She didn't want to, but his glare made her instinctively obey his order. She threw the stick down and it landed on the floor, while she spread her wings started flapping.

'Wait...'

She didn't know where to land, Zhang Qianbai hadn't raised his arm for her to land. She didn't want to anger him by hitting his face to land on his shoulder either. There was no time to think since they were already close and she was already about to crash right into him.

He still didn't move an inch though. She smacked right into his chest and automatically, her claws/talons and beak gripped onto his clothes.

"E- eheh..hehehe..."

His face turned dark and a glare showed on his face that made her shiver. Her claws and beak were sharp and they ripped through Zhang Qianbai's clothes. It was at this moment, she knew, she had really messed up. The clothes he wore looked expensive and she just ruined them!

'Oh god, please let me off the hook..!'

Suprisingly the third prince walked into his tent with her still hanging on.

"Get to work."

"YES!"

The soldiers knew what they were supposed to do and started packing everything up while Zhang Qianbai left.

"Zimo."

"Yes, prince!"

"The bird."

Zimo glanced up and saw her still hanging on Zhang Qianbai. In truth, she got stuck on his clothe. She tried to get her claw unstuck, but it was no use, she just had to wait until the thread broke.

Zimo started sweating a little at his next question since he really couldn't help it.

"Why is the bird not in a cage?"

"Sir! The cages were meant for large Qi beasts so the bird could fit through the bars. It flew away when I was thinking of a solution."

After that, there was silence, except the talking of the soldiers outside.

"Xiao Niao get off me."

"WAIT! Did he just name me a literal translation?"

'Dammit wait till I'm powerful enough! I'll kick your ass!'

She still struggled, unable to get off the thread though. Obviously, Zhang Qianbai noticed but just watched her struggle a bit more.

'Argh these threads! Are they made of steel or what!?'

(I'm going to refer her as Xiao Niao because it's easier.)

"Zimo."

"Yes."

Zimo picked up a knife he had on him and tried to carefully cut the thread and not Xiao Niao's claws. It was a little uncomfortable for Zimo since he had to lean on Zhang Qianbai as well as hold Xiao Niao so he could see better. Finally the thread was cut and Xiao Niao wasn't stuck anymore.

"Ahh~ I'm never doing that again!"

Xiao Niao hadn't heard from the system in a long time and almost forgot she even had one to begin with since she hadn't killed anything or gotten notifications.

Xiao Niao hadn't realized while she was asking the system questions, but after her leg was free she was moved onto a horse with the third prince after everything was packed.

Xiao Niao didn't know how she didn't realize she was on a horse, but it was fine, she didn't care.

"Hey little bird, are you alright up there?"

"Oh yes I'm fine it's only only a little bump. Hey Wait! I was called little bird again!"

'Wait, did the horse just talk?'

Xiao Niao kept talking to Zhang Qianbai's horse, and learned a lot of new information. Apparently, Zhang Qianbai was the third prince of the imperial family. He had also taken the role of the armie's commander.

"I guess that solves why he was in the forest. Oh yeah i didn't get your name."

"uhh..... Heima."

Heima whispered her name, but Xiao Niao still heard it.

"Your name's a literal translation too? The prince sure sucks at naming."

The two continued talking about different things such as Zhang Qianbai or stories of Heima's travels with him.

before she even knew it, they arrived at the end of the path. The path ended on top of a cliff and in the distance, was a bunch of large light brown and orange tents.

"That's an enemy camp, it's our target."

Heima explained what they were going to be doing at the enemy camp, to Xiao Niao.

She didnt want to be a part of attacking an enemy camp, however, when she was about to fly off, Zhang Qianbai grabbed Xiao Niao and made her sit back down.

'Looks like there's no escaping....!'
