CHAPTER 34. Familiar?

  Astrid's POV:

I can't believe how nice Rafael is and seeing other people appreciate and trust me sparked something in me.

I have to admit that I felt terrible about the entire scenario since I felt I was somehow responsible for everything that was occurring with them, but his assurance that none of this was my fault soothed my nerves.

We were on our way the next day, and as much as I had known Rafael in these few days, I knew he wouldn't do anything without a plan.

After a while, I discovered we were on a familiar path. I dismissed it at first, believing it was similar to what I was thinking.

But from a bit further out, I could clearly see our pack boundaries.

I tensed in my seat. Do we intend to go there? I was perplexed.

All the memories of that location that I had tried so hard to forget came flooding back. I'm curious how my brothers are doing; do they miss me? Do they ever think about me?
