I'm too old for this

Arvish paced nervously in the abandoned factory, his mind racing with questions and doubts. "What should I do?" he muttered to himself, desperate for a way out of the dangerous situation he had found himself in.

Albert, who had been watching him from a corner of the hall, sighed and shook his head at the young man's display of anxiety. "Youngsters," he muttered to himself, a hint of disapproval in his voice.

Arvish continued to pace, his thoughts jumbled and confused. "What if I... No, no, that wouldn't work," he mumbled to himself, lost in his own thoughts.

"You imbecile," the old man scolded him, frustration evident in his voice. "Take my car."

Arvish's eyes lit up at the suggestion. He quickly approached the car, inspecting it carefully. Though it wasn't armored, it was the best option available to him.

"Break through the cordon, and then drive until you reach what you want," Albert advised him.

Arvish looked at the old man with pride, grateful for the help. The old man shook his head in response.

"Come on, help me up, so I can start the car for you," he said, pulling himself up to a standing position.

Arvish approached him and brought his arm around Albert's shoulder, the two slowly made their way toward the car as the old man struggled to deal with the pain from his broken leg.

"Are you okay?" Arvish asked him, concern etched on his face.

Albert looked at him, surprised by the question. "No, I'm everything but okay. My leg is broken!" he exclaimed. "But you don't have time to worry about others now," he added, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

They reached the car, Albert reached inside to the wheel, where Arvish ripped the car door down. The lights came on, and the electric engine rumbled like a bee.

Arvish helped the old man get comfortable not too far from the car and then hopped into the driver's seat, putting the car in reverse. Before he pushed the gas pedal, he looked at Albert and said, "Thank you."

The old man just shook his head, with a small smile on his face.

Arvish readied himself, grabbing the wheel tightly, and then pushed down on the gas pedal. The tires spun, but the car didn't move. He tried again, but the same thing happened.

"It's stuck at the bumper," Albert yelled out.

Arvish got out of the car to see what the problem was. As Albert had said, the bumper was stuck on a pillar after the crash.

He thought for a minute before realizing something. He raised his right hand up to his face, then put his fist up at the pillar. He then pulled it back slowly before lowering it again, then pulled back and gave all his power in the punch.

The pillar crumbled, and he gave it another go. The pillar broke in half. Arvish cleared the rubble from the car. It was free.

The old man winced in pain, Arvish walked to him and tried to help him anyway. Unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do.

"It's nothing," Albert said, trying to reassure Arvish.

"But what if... Come with me," Arvish suggested.

"Ah, I'm too old for this," he replied.

Arvish thought about it for a moment, then made a decision. He grabbed Albert and tried to pull him towards the car, but the old man screamed out in pain. "Let me be, you imbecile!" the old man scolded him as Arvish lowered him back to his seat. "Now go kid. Go!"

Arvish looked at him, nodding his head in thanks. He spun around, ready to leave, but his movements froze as he heard the sound of glass crunching. Something was coming for them.

They stood in silence, fear painted across Arvish's face. Suddenly, a red glove grew on the floor, leading from a hallway in the factory. The crunching sound stopped, and a metal bar in waist-high stepped out from the hallway. Arvish readied his weapon, unsure of what he was about to face.

Arvish and the old man stood frozen as they watched a strange creature emerge before them. Another leg appeared, followed by a round body that seemed to be made of metal. As it took a couple more steps, they could see that it was a robot, with a menacing-looking minigun on its back.

But what caught their attention the most was the red glowing eye on its front, which seemed to be scanning its surroundings. The robot's head slowly turned until it stopped at Arvish, causing a shiver to run down his spine.

A small makeshift camp lays at the edge of a dark forest. The camp was nothing more than a collection of tents and shacks, thrown together haphazardly by a group of people who had chosen to live outside the confines of society. They were a ragtag bunch, living off the land and doing whatever they could to survive.

In the middle of the city, there was a large tent that stood out from the rest. It was bigger than the others, and it was made from a thicker, more durable material. Inside the tent, there was a bed, and on that bed lay a big, mean-looking guy who was completely naked. He was surrounded by two women, who were also naked and writhing around him. They all had half of their forearm that was missing on their right hand.

Suddenly, the tent flap flew open, and a skinny, rugged-looking guy stumbled inside. He was panting heavily, and he looked like he had just run a marathon.

"What the hell do you want?" the big guy growled, sitting up in the bed and glaring at the intruder.

"The news," the skinny guy gasped. "You looked at the news, Gorgon?"

"Don't you see that I'm busy?" Gorgon snarled. "What's in the news?"

"There's something big happening in Eferdom," the skinny guy said, trying to catch his breath.

"And you want to go to party?" Gorgon laughed, the two women joined in.

"No, all the cops are-" the skinny guy couldn't finish because Gorgon grabbed one of the naked women and hurled her at the skinny guy. They both tumbled to the ground in a heap.

Gorgon stood up in the bed. He was in his forties, almost seven feet tall and completely naked except for a thick layer of scars that covered his lean, muscular body and a little beer belly.

"I know what it means," Gorgon said, grinning. "Gather the boys up. The One-Hand Gang is going for a hunt."
