Chapter 233: God Slay the Queen

By the time we routed the third secondary hatchery, my forces managed to set up at the perimeter of the primary hive, which was heavily guarded. Even so, my mammoth siege golems remained beyond the range of the spine colonies, their subterranean spines unable to reach my forces as my siege units pummeled them from afar.

I had also decided to visit the battlefield in person, clambering atop one of my colossi and riding it toward the form up position. My army gathered for one last clash, waiting at the edge of the creep (which was what I decided to call the resin material that carpeted the ground of the cave for now). Right over the horizon, a swarm of demon insects gathered for one final fight, their teeming numbers filling the cavernous space for as far as I could see.
