Chapter 135 — On A Date With His Fiance (2)

"That we can skip this dinner and go on to something more exciting." was Gao Tinghua's ambiguous reply.

Han Jingse felt like she understood what he was talking about, but at the same time, she could not show him that she understood immediately. It would ruin her image.

So she looked slightly confused as she asked in a way she thought was adorable, "Exciting? What is it?"

Gao Tinghua hated these silly little games, but who asked her to be his fiance? He decided to play along. "I booked a suite here, so that we can spend more time together."

Now that Han Jingse was completely sure about what he was trying to say, she pondered on the next step. Should she reject him? But she had not yet brought up the issue of their marriage yet.

Since he said they would spend time together, she was sure she could bring it up then. As for whatever else he was thinking of doing, she would decide at that time.

She thought of all these in a few moments. She then bit her lower lip and bent her head shyly, "Spending time together is a good idea. I'll listen to Tinghua ge."

Gao Tinghua smiled while sneering inwardly. "Mother oh Mother, why are you so naive? Come take a look at the daughter-in-law you have chosen. Good girl? Pure?"

A load of bull****!

The rest of the meal was spent without conversation. Han Jingse was on a diet, so she didn't eat much, but she chewed her food slowly.

While he waited for her to finish eating, he was thinking about the fact that he didn't know what Pei Yueran looked like when she ate, simply because she refused to dine with

him.

A quarter of an hour later, she was finally done with her meal. After settling the bill, Gao Tinghua collected their jackets and led her towards the suite he had booked. It was on the 14th floor.

Speaking of the hotel, it really deserved to have the word "luxuries" in its name. Everything —from the imported banisters and expensive-looking chandeliers, to the outfits of the receptionist and waiters— screamed "luxurious."

It was said that the owner of this hotel was not a resident of the Capital, but Gao Tinghua felt that to be able to put down something like this, he had to have deep roots.

The suite he had booked was a presidential one. It had a beautiful view of the distant mountains that surrounded the capital city.

Immediately they got inside, Gao Tinghua made to grab her, but she instinctively dodged.

"Ting-Tinghua ge, what are you doing?" He was going too fast!

"What do you think?" Gao Tinghua replied playfully, walking closer while she moved backward. He unbuttoned his shirt slowly while looking at her. He didn't want to miss any of her reactions.

"W-wait. I followed you because I wanted us to talk." She stammered. Ironically, she looked genuinely pure and ladylike at that moment, because her nervousness was real.

"About what?" Two more buttons had already come undone, leaving his shirt to hang open. Han Jingse glanced at his chest inadvertently and blushed.

"About our wedding. We've not made any plans yet." She said, fixing her gaze on his face.

"Ah that." He drawled. "Let our parents handle it. We just need to focus on getting to know each other better." He said suggestively. In a moment of inattention, he caught her wrist and pulled her towards him.

"Ahhhh" She screamed coquettishly. Still she was not satisfied with his vague reply, so she ignored the feeling of his chest on her cheek and pressed on.

"But it's our wedding, we need to be involved as well. Besides, we can even make plans right now. What date do you think will be suitable for the meeting of families?

Weddings in the Capital, especially if the couple belonged to high society could be very tedious and cumbersome. Those old families still believed in the ancient traditions, and matching of birth characters, sending of betrothal gifts in boxes and picking of an auspicious day all had to be done.

Originally, as an heir to the Gao family's enormous fortune, just preparing his marriage via this route would take at least one year.

However, with Qiao Mingran as the current matriarch of the Gao family, those formalities were too much for her to handle, so she decided to go the modern route, which only included a meeting of the families to discuss the wedding details, getting the marriage certificate and then doing a formal ceremony.

Because of her mother, the Han family's patriarch did not like Han Jingse —this granddaughter very much, therefore he didn't care much about the type of marriage rites to be observed.

So apart from processes that could absolutely not be thrown away, such as the giving of betrothal gifts, other things were either shortened or done away with altogether.

Thinking about the fact that even if the meeting of families was set for tomorrow, the earliest the wedding would hold was in a month's time, he felt relaxed enough to reply, "anytime you like. It can even be tomorrow."

Anyway, he was sure he would have wooed his Yueran by then. He wasn't even considering failure.

For as long as he had lived, what he wanted, he always got.

After obtaining a firmer answer, Han Jingse felt relieved. Once she got home, she would tell her mother to fix the date. Tomorrow was unrealistic, but in two weeks' time didn't sound half bad.

She was brought out of her thoughts abruptly by a sensation on her chest. Gao Tinghua was kissing her collarbone while his hands pressed her chest softly through the fabric of her dress.

"Tinghua ge, wait." She said hurriedly, trying to get away. It had just occurred to her that if she let him have her like this, her image would be damaged in his eyes. Her pure girl persona would be destroyed.

Gao Tinghua was a little angry this time. He had given her what she wanted, why was she still interrupting him? "Why? What is it?"

Frantic, her pupils moved around erratically as she thought up millions of excuses. Finally she blurted out, "My uhm- that is here."

Gao Tinghua frowned, "Your what now?"

"My-my period." She knew many men got turned off by that, but unfortunately, she had underestimated Gao Tinghua's hunger.

"It's not a problem. You know I'm a good driver, right?"

Puzzled, Han Jingse nodded blankly, wondering what driving had to do with what she was talking about.

"Good. I can drive well even through the worst terrain. So if I can drive through mud, I can screw through blood."

Han Jingse didn't even have to pretend this time, the shock on her face was as real as the atrocious words that Gao Tinghua just uttered.

But he was not done.

"Besides, I like ketchup on my hotdog."

If you felt disgusted by Gao Tinghua's thoughts, just vent in the comments))

I'll go first: He's really abnormal!

And that last comment of his was not from me, I kid you not.
