Chapter 1 - Prolougue
As everyone used to say,"Enjoy your life to the fullest". That quote didn't even touch my heart one bit now. Even since you left, these feelings never change. Ever since you left, went away from my life, these feelings stood still and just kept whimpering and crying out for your embrace. Can I really Fall for nobody else but you? Can I really not have a chance to see you again?Can't these words not reach you?
Thinking back, when we were teens,we played together, having fun together, enjoying life together,but somewhere along that moment, a soothing sensation of emotion took me by surprise while seeing your beautiful face along the sunset against your back.At that moment, Iknew I liked you. Were you both young and proud, never cared about anything except ourselves.. But as you said you would be leaving the country, took me by surprise, went and said i'd support you with you and your family's choice.
"Will you be coming here again someday? Will we be able to meet here again?" I asked, facing her with a thoughtful decision of asking her.I felt so emotional after I asked her."I will! I will go and see you again, together at that spot!" She started crying right in front of me, being the most emotional between us."Come on, stop crying. You won't be an adult if you cry that much". Tears started flowing, drenching my cheeks with tears of joy and sorrow of not being able to see her again."Will you leave me a promise of forever? That one shall abide the content of the given one's word to each other?". I was nothing but a small, teenage boy."I promise!Pinky Swear!" She had the most prettiest face I have seen. I like her.
Yes, I said i'd love to have a promise with her. I said that for her to still remember me, even when were far away from each other. But that was not my real intention. I wanted to tell her these feelings I've been keeping for a long, long time. But I was a coward, running away from my feelings. A day after that, as I was going to a convenience store to buy stuff for cooking, the road across that path was where her house is. As I pass by, the house was empty, cleaned off of things. I knew they already left, but the me that time felt the pain of not being able to see her again.
Day by day, months and years have passed by, Its been 8 years , yet I haven't gotten your word of return.At all those passing years, I never look for a partner, ever since. My heart was waiting for your acceptance, but I was a whimp, couldn't do anything but be a regretful person.
It is the present day, yet your notice of return haven't reached me. All these years I have been waiting for you "I'm back!"
Life's been an easy-going rundabout. My name is Theodore Lapis, 18-years old, Senoir High School Student at a University. Introductions for me were never fun. Meeting and forgetting people, that's what my life has been. Though I have a few friends who make me laugh, have fun, and play with. Playing online games, drawing for a hobby, and learning different language. This' what my life come to.
Even to these days, she's been the only person in my mind. Alot have asked for my acceptance of dating, but I have been rejecting them, because this heart only belongs to you. things have been different after you left. All I ever hoped was for you to be happy, for you to be able to live life to the foolest. These were the feelings I feel as I remember your last warm, and gentle embrace.
