6 Chapter 6

We reached hospital and rushed towards the operation theater where Dad was after asking the receptionist.

I saw police officers near dad's operation theater. I saw the nurse coming out of the room.

Y/N : "How is my dad's condition now?"

Nurse : "We can't say anything right now mam. He has lost a lot of blood."

Mom started crying more and I just fell on my knees on the ground.

Then the police officer came to Mom.

Police Officer : " Mam I am sorry that you have to go through all this but we have to ask you some questions"

Mom : "My husband is in there on the verge of death and you are asking questions?"

Police Officer : "I totally understand that Mam but we think this was not an accident but someone did it on purpose."

Someone tried to ki.....kill him??

I stood up.

Mom : "I don't know but he is a really kind person I don't think he has any enemies."

I suddenly remembered something.

Y/N : "Mr.Kim"

Everyone turned their head towards me.

Police Officer : "What did you say young girl?"

I looked at him right in his eyes my whole blood was boiling from anger.

Y/N : "Mr.Kim head of Kim enterprise. He is the one who tried to kill him."

Police Officer : "But how are you so sure bout that?"

Y/N : "Dad told me that he was handling a case of murder where his prime suspect was Mr.Kim and I noticed that dad was very busy these days because of this case. I guess he must have got some evidence against him."

Police Officer : "Thank you for the information but we don't have any proof for this. We have to wait until he regains his consciousness."

Y/N : "Wait? but what if they again try to kill him?"

Police Officer : "We are going to give him security so don't worry."

I nodded my head.

After that they left. The doctor came out.

Mark : "Doctor how is dad?"

Doc : "He is not responding to any medicine so it is hard to say."

Hearing that broke my heart and I started crying even more. My mind was full of bad thoughts, what if dad....No No No it can never happen.

After 1 1/2 hour Doc came outside again.

Doc : "The patient has fallen into coma."

What?? Coma?

Y/N : "When will he be fine Doc?"

Doc : "We cant tell you anything it might take weeks, months or even years."

I felt like my heart just broke apart. I only had my dad with whom I could share everything and now I can't.

Nurse : "Mam we found this in your Dad's car"

It was a box and when I opened it there was a new top with a card.

I hope you achieve all the happiness and good health in your life. Study hard in your university coz I know you are a smart girl and will defiantly do what your mother wanted to do, you will make her dream true and be a big fashion designer. Sorry if you got hurt by anything Dad said. You know I Love you the most.

I always knew dad missed mom even if he never said so. This note and gift made me cry even more and I was not able to do anything.

*Time Skip*

After a week.

Mom and Mark moved to Daegu after knowing that dad wrote his will and gave everything to his daughter means me. Dad is not dead but still they wanted to get his property and kick me out, I guess dad knew that this day would come but always kept quiet.

I was in the hospital sitting right next to dad's bed holding his hand.

Y/N : "Tomorrow is my first day of university"

*sigh* tears starting forming in my eyes.

"I know you are wishing me luck and don't worry I am your strong girl. I will study hard.....OK Dad I am going home now I have to sleep else I will be late on my first day, I will come to meet you after university byee"

I kissed Dad's forehead and went outside.

I got home and went to the kitchen to make some dinner.

This house feels so lonely and cold now. I opened the fridge but there was nothing in it.

Y/N : "Ohh I have to go to convenient store now"

I wore my shoes and went outside after locking the door.

As I reached there I saw a notice outside

*Looking For A Cashier*

A thought crossed my mind. I need money, I mean I have money for now but I would need it for future to pay my university fee, books, daily utilities and stuff. I have to do a part-time job.

I went inside and was greeted by a middle aged man.

?? : "Welcome"

Y/N : "Excuse me I wanted to apply for the job of cashier here"

?? : "OK OK so have you ever done this job before?"

Y/N : "No"

?? : "But you know that you have to work at shift of 6:00 to 11:00 pm."

without giving a second thought I just said yes as I live nearby.

?? : "OK then you can start work from tommorrow."

Y/N : "OK sir"

?? : "You can call me Mr.Lee"

Y/N : "OK Mr.Lee"

I took some instant noodles and left.
