Did he kill that man?? My body was shivering

I gathered all my courage to turned around and I saw some men picking up the dead body.

Y/N (whispering) : "Oh god! what will they do with the dead body?"

I was waiting for them to leave. They turned around and started leaving.

*BEEP...BEEP....BEEP*

F**k my phone started ringing it was probably my Dad calling. I quickly I switch my phone off and saw the man who killed the other man coming this way. I ran as fast as I can and didn't look back.

?? : "Catch her!!"

Hearing that I ran like Usain Bolt and ran towards a crowed road. Luckily I was able to ran from them and reach home safely. I saw Mark near the gate standing there, busy on his phone. He saw me and just ignored me.

Huh!! jerk. As I went inside the house

Mom (shouting) : "Is this the time to come home??"

I just stood their keeping my head down.

Dad came and her voice suddenly changed.

Mom : "Honey! I was just so worried about her that's why I shouted. I am sorry my dear baby"

Yup! she is my step mom. My biological mother died while giving birth to me so I don't remember her at all. My grandma took care of me and I never felt that I don't have a mother but she died 2 years back.

Dad : "You don't have to say sorry. You are her mother you have full right to scold her and your Mom is right where were you?"

I didn't replied. I just didn't wanted to talk coz they won't understand.

Mom : "Dear I was so worried for you. I sent your brother Mark to search for you. He just came from studying with his friends and went straight to search for you."

Y/N : "Oh!! really? I just saw him standing near gate busy with his phone. I came in and he just ignored me."

Then suddenly Mark came in panting.

Mark (Panting): "Oh you are back? thank god you are safe....I searched for you everywhere"

Y/N : "Really? then why were you not able to find me?"

Mom : "Why are you being so rude Y/N"

Dad : "Is this the way to talk to your big brother?"

Y/N : "He is not my brother"

And I just ran to my room

Dad : "Y/N is this...."

Mom : "Its OK honey, she is a teenager and they behave like this its okay"

I came to my room, shutting the door. I just fell on my bed crying.

Y/N : "I just hate everyone..."

I saw my grandma's picture.

"Why did you leave me? why didn't you take me with you?"

I held my wrist and the bracelet that she gave me was not there.

Y/N : "Where is my bracelet?"

I tried to find it in my room but didn't find it.

"Oh s**t I guess I dropped it somewhere outside"

I went towards my coupboard and took a bracelet similar to that one actually my grandma gave me a silver bracelet when I turned 10 and a week ago my grandma died I lost it. Grandma said she will give me another one on my birthday and she probably ordered it for my birthday but died 2 weeks before my birthday. I got the order of the same bracelet on my birthday that made me cry so much But I found the one I lost and it was in one of the pocket of my grandma's coat. So I had two same bracelets.

Someone knocked the door.

Y/N : "Who is it?"

Dad : "Y/N its me"

I opened the door and dad came in.

Dad : "I just came here to tell you that I have already filled form of Mark's university and you will get in that university only."

Y/N : "Dad but you know that....."

Dad : "I don't want to listen anything. I am not asking you I am telling you this. I will drop you for your entrance exam tommorrow so be ready at 9:00 am"
