Chapter 1

- 1994 Arcadia bay, Oregon.

In a house in the town of Arcadia bay, a couple was seen standing in a room overlooking a crib. The crib contained two children, twins, that was huddled together while asleep. One was a small brown haired girl, meanwhile the boy had a more blackish hair. They were the twins, Chloe and Alexander, mostly called Alex, Price. They were the five month old children of Joyce and William Price. Joyce was a blonde woman with sharp facial features. She worked at the local diner, Two whales diner. William had brown hair and a more round face with a small stubble on his face.

Alex and Chloe was born on march 11th 1994. Both were equally loved by their parents who absolutely loved to dote on their two bundles of joy. They were active children who loved to crawl around and explore, but Alex was always the calmer one of the two. But what the newly minted parents didnt know, was that there was more to their son than he let on.

- MC/Alex POV.

My name is Alex Price and I have a secret that will follow me to my grave. I wasnt originally from this world. No, in the world that I came from, this place belonged in a game that I played with my sister on our old playstation, called Life is strange. How do I know that this is the same place? Well, lets have a little flashback.

- Flashback.

I woke up on a bed in a white room that vaguely smelled like coffee. I had no idea how I got here, but I decided not to panic and start to look around. There wasnt much decor and the room itself was quite spacious. The bed that I found myself on was place sideways against a wall and there was a table on the other end of the room with two chairs. I saw nothing else there, so I got up from the bed and headed for the table. I had no idea if I was supposed to wait for something, but I just sat down on one of the chairs and started to think about my situation.

Not much time later, I saw a small light on the wall on the opposite side of the table and waited for something to happen. The light split into two and started moving, forming lines of light in the shape of a box, or more accurately, a door. The piece of wall swung open, revealing a woman. She looked to be in her mid twenties with blonde hair that went to her lower back and had a small bun on the back of her head.

She walked towards the only other chair in the room and sat down with an elegance that I wouldnt be able to describe for the love of me. We just sat there for a while in silence, as if to size eachother up. But I cracked first and asked with a more silent voice than what I had intended. I was also sure that my voice cracked a bit as well.

"So..... whats going on?" Was the most intelligent question I could come up with in my confusion of my newly found situation. The woman looked at me some more for a few minutes before finally answering.

"Well, to start things off, youre dead and is currently being observed to judge what to do with you now." This stumped me a bit. I dont remember any death happening around me since my parents died in a planecrash when I was seventeen. That was nearly ten years ago though.

"You might be wondering, if Im dead, then why dont I remember it like those manga or something, right? The answer is simple. Because death is such a traumatic experience for the human brain, we are forced to delete that moment from your memories."

"So Im really dead, huh? Im more calm than I expected."

"Thats a side-effect of this room. It calms your body and mind with the added effect of release the persons favorite scent."

"So thats why I can smell coffee in the air. Neat. But back to my first question, what now?"

"Well we usually would send you to the afterlife, but something happened to you that made it more or less impossible for us." She sighed with a tired voice.

"Something.... happened to me?"

"Yes. You see, the life and death cycle have four worlds included in it. First is the land of the living, or earth if you want. Thats where the living come from. Are you with me?"

"Yeah, land of the living is where I came from."

"Yup, got it. Next is the three realms of the afterlife, heaven, hell or what we call the neutral. Heaven and hell are self explanatory, but the neutral is a space that connects the other three realms. Its basically the void, a place where no soul can exist or traverse. However, you, Alexander Hunt, managed to be in the neutral and even bonded with some of the realms energy, which simply should have made your soul blow up from the inside the moment you came into contact with it." Alexander gulped at the thought. He had dodged a bullet.

"Now comes the harder part. You see, that energy can be called void energy as well, but the thing about it that makes this so much harder for us is that it cannot leave the neutral no matter what because of its corrosive properties."

"So what can we do?"

"Well simply put, you have two choices, first is to be annihilated completely along with the energy." He gulped again.

"And the second option?" He asked more cautiosly.

"The second is that I take that energy and uses it for what you would call reincarnation. This is more or less the situation. You get a new life with a couple of boons, or get destroyed." She said with a matter of fact tone, and I could vaguely see a glint in her eyes just asking me to ask for the first option. I sucked in a breath of cold air and said.

"I`ll take the second life..."

"Tsk.." Did she just click her tongue at me?

"Got it. We will do this the hard way then. First, choose a look to have in your new life."

"Easy, I`ll take the look of Andy Biersack."

"A new one, I must admit he got the looks. Next we will have a more fun way to see what world you will end up in." She said as a wheel like the one from wheel of fortune appeared in front of us.

I saw many names that I could recognise on there, such as MHA, Naruto and many more. Wait, did I just see silent hill and final destination on there? I shivered at the thought. Thats two of the worlds that I abso-fucking-lutely dont want to end up in.

"As you can see, there are names of worlds you know from fiction, and there are numbers that represent alternate versions of the earth you came from. Now spin the wheel and lets see your luck." She said with glee while seeing the face I had at the prospect of ending up in those two worlds. But I spun the wheel anyways. It spun for a couple of minutes before stopping.

"Aaaandd, the winner iiiisssss..... Life is strange with a couple of crossovers coupled in. I didnt even know that was possible.

"I know the game, but whats been croosed into that world?"

"Even I dont know. Seems like it is gonna be a surprise for you to find out." She said with a smug smile on her face, almost as if she had that all planned out.

"Now for a boon. But only one." She said, making me think hard. On one hand I could ask for some sort of power since I dont know what else has been added into that world, but on the other hand I could ask for some sort monetary boon.... `I got it´

"I want super adaptation. Wether it be body, mind or even luck. I want a power that can help me adapt to my needs." I said, this time with my own smug face, which caused her to frown a bit.

"That is..... doable.... sigh, this is gonna come out of my paycheck." I heard her say.

"If thats all, then off you go." She said.

"Wai-" I couldnt finish my sentence before she snapped her fingers and I fell asleep while being engulfed by some kind of light.

When I woke up again, everything was dark and I could feel some kind of liquid surrounding me. I tried moving, but it turned out to be harder than I felt comfortable with. I couldnt keep myself conscious for long, and soon fell asleep again. I didnt know how much time had passed, but once I woke up again, I felt someone slapping my ass which caused me to cry involuntarily. Wait, I cried? At that thought, I started to look around, which turned out to unfruitful since everything I saw was blurry. It took me some time, but I calmed myself down while I felt myself being engulfed by a pair of arms..... that seemed so much bigger than a normal persons... `Shit.....´ That was my only thought at that moment.

`Big arms.... Bad vision..... Surrounded by darkness and liquid.... Yup, I am a baby again."

- Flashback end.

And that was five months ago. I later heard my name being Alexander Price, as well as my twins name.... Chloe Price. Since I knew what world I was in, I obviously knew who she was. Especially considering she was the main character in Before the storm, as well as the secondary main in the first Life is strange. She was only briefly mentioned in the second game though.

Life was somewhat easy enough as a baby. The only downsides I could thin of was that I couldnt smoke, and I couldnt shit by myself anymore. Do you know how humiliating it is to have your diapers changed? No? Didnt think so.

I usually spent my days with Chloe and my new father, William who spent the most of the day at home. I knew him from some flashbacks they showed in the games. He died, plain and simple. So I used a lot of time wondering if I should try to save him or not. Most likely not since I need him to die if I want any chance of knowing the future. Also, I better liked the badass Chloe than the meek Chloe before she associated with Rachel Amber, who is coincidentally also gonna be born in a couple of months.

So I couldnt wait to get a bit older.
