In Realm of Glory, the only way to get a Country Identity Card <CIC > and a Residential Permit <RC > was by completing the task given by the ministry or governing npc.
These two certifications worked how they world in the real world. One allowed him to travel through the borders of villages, towns, cities and states in a Country. It was not a national travel document so it couldn't allow a player to travel to other countries in a realm.
The CIC was issued by the minister of transportation, an npc names Kim Sangah.
The Residential Permit on the other hand allows him to reside in a particular state, carrying information about which town and village a player reside in and, if any, a summary of their criminal records.
This was issued by the local government center.
Ma Vương first went to the minister of transportation office located a few miles from the border of the village.
The office was quite far from the Local Government Center which was situated at the village center and there would not be much of a crowd there at this time.
The journey took an hour and a half, and while Ma Vương didn't run out of topics to discuss with Qiáng, he was thoroughly exhausted by the time he arrived at the single story brick office.
As he had predicted, not more than fifteen people were gathered around and at an npc (perhaps a worker in the office) order, they all fell into two lines.
It was more orderly here than it would be at the Local Government Center and soon it was Ma Vương's turn to meet the lady behind the counter.
Ma Vương noticed how she looked at him with a welcoming smile and did nothing else, typical of an npc.
The first time players learn about npc's was that they were very biased. One have to gain the favouritism of an npc to increase their relationship status. Therefore, it was best to act respectfully toward npc's no matter what.
As such, Ma Vương cupped his fist and bowed in greeting.
"Hello senior sister. This junior has come to trouble you for a CIC." He said in a voice full of sincerity and respect.
To such greeting, even Ma Vương's heart would be moved much less an npc.
The female npc seemed to come to life and she smiled warmly at Ma Vương as though looking at you get brother.
[Your humbleness and mannerism have touched the heart of an npc's heart and her favouritism towards you have increased to ....]
Ma Vương had been expecting it, hoping it would happen but when the system notifications before him suddenly glitched, he almost couldn't control his excitement.
[Error... Error.... Unable to calculate favor point]

{NPC => Every npc walking in the ministry of transportation realm wide
Relationship Status => Good Friends
Comment => Good friends have each other's back. Be careful not to abuse friendship}
Ma Vương's heart almost leaped out to his chest on seeing the system notifications. It had indeed happened again.
The bug had appeared again and just like before, instead of correcting the error, it increased his reward.
Ma Vương felt like skipping on the spot. A player's favoritism from npc's were as important as the player's level itself. Hard to increase and so very easy to reduce.
The number of favor points needed to increase an npc feelings towards you was drastically high from one status to the next and in their whole life, some players won't even be able to make an npc acquittance with them.
To be good friends with every npc working in the ministry of transportation all round the realm was a unbelievably if not impossible.
And Ma Vương had done it!
If others were to learn of this, they won't just be shocked, they'd reap him apart for the method he used.
The female npc whom he stood in front of expression suddenly went from a relaxed smile to a wide grin, her eyes lit up like she just meet a long lost friend.
Even the male npc next to her was grinning at him, completely ignoring the guy who stood before him.
"Eh, Ma Vương! You're here." The female npc exclaimed.
"How are you doing, Ma Vương?" The make asked.
To be called so intimately by none playing characters...it was a little creepy. He quickly arranged his expression and replied with a bright smile.
"I'm doing well. How are you two? Hope you aren't being worked to death."
The male npc rolled his eyes, handing the boy's CIC to him as he replied. "What'd you expect? I expect more people will turn up soon. We can forget sleep today."
"Eh, it's not too bad. Some of them are perfectly pleasant" The female npc defended and the male npc mimiced her words wordlessly.
Ma Vương couldn't help but laugh at their antiques. Behind him, on players seemed to have finally noticed the npc's abnormal behaviors and murmurs could be heard. They were some who were even recording this most likely to post on their page or the forum later.
After conversing for a few minutes, ignoring the angry voices of those behind, the female npc suddenly retrieved a CIC and handed it to Ma Vương.
To his surprise, it had his name and basic information on it. Ma Vương almost asked how she knew all this but was quick to swallow his words. His favoritism status had allowed the npcs to know his name with him saying it. Perhaps it allowed them to know other basic informations about himself after all they were good friends.
"Getting an identity card is usually hard and you'd have had to complete a stupid task but as we're good friends, I'll make things easy for you"
Ma Vương nodded. Favoritism really was a bug on it's own. "Thank you. I'll repay you somehow." He said in gratitude.
The female npc laughed merrily, waving her hands dismisingly. "Nonsense. What are friends for?"
"But..."
"If it helps clear your conscience, when you embark on your journey, if you ever happen to meet my darling little sister - Ree, please bring her to meet her big sister"
Though it was there for only a moment, Ma Vương noticed the sad look that flashed in the female npc's eyes. It was quickly replaced by a soft smile.
Ma Vương's heart tightened. Did this npc and her younger sister separate on bad terms? It felt too much like his own life story.
To feel such scenes of familiarity towards a computer program, Ma Vương couldn't help but feel uneasy.
That laugh, that smile, that sadness...it was all too real, too human. Ma Vương suddenly felt like getting away from here as quickly as possible.
"Rest assured, if I ever meet your little sister - Ree, not even the heavens would stop me from bringing her to you."
The female npc eyes lit up again with a familiar warmth. "Go well then, Ma Vương"
"Don't forgot to come visit often!" The male npc said.
With a smile and a wave, Ma Vương stepped out of the line. He hadn't taken a few steps when everyone, even those who ware about to confront him, stopped on their tracks.
The emotionless voice of the system announcer boomed throughout the village and beyond.

Ma Vương stood in a frozen daze for a few seconds. Why, he thought, why did she have to announce his name three times to the whole game.
All round him, everyone had come back to their scenes and we're now in chaos.
Three consecutive world announcement for the same player?
Legendary Chain mission?
Ma Vương turned back to see the npcs. The female npc winked at him and the male one gave a thumbs up. Ma Vương couldn't help but feel wronged. Greatfull as he was, he was also a little offended.
Why did he have to be famous so early in the game?
Trying to avoid more attention, Ma Vương quitely left the scene. Since everyone was still rather in a daze, he was able to do this.
Ma Vương, to be safe, returned all the way back to the large rock in front of the forest before he relaxed. Needless to say, his image was all-over the game forums, YouTube and any other site he could think of.
It was better to keep a low profile till everything settles.
Calling up the system interface, Ma Vương was greeted with a series of notification alarms as they popped up on the screen.
Above his head, Qiáng appeared and sat.
