Chapter 17
"Why?" He questioned, genuinely confused. I just rolled my eyes at him before grabbing my plate and walking off. Because the table was so small, when he eventually joined me, our legs brushed against one another's under the table. We ate in silence for the majority of the meal, until he decided to speak first.
"This is delicious." He complimented me before taking another large bite. I just gave a quiet hmm and kept eating. His fork clattered against his plate, causing me to look up at him. There was a look of fire in his eyes as he clenched his fists atop the table.
"Do you need to be punished, or are you going to continue to cop an attitude with me?" He challenged. I set my cutlery down and wiped my mouth before finally addressing him.
