Erina
Warren pulled away from the gentle kiss, giving me a crooked smile. He smoothed my hair. "Nic will be here soon. Come on, I'll help you get cleaned up."
I was grateful he was taking the lead on it. I'd come so many times by this point, I honestly didn't know if it was possible to do so again. A human just couldn't handle this type of life style, not do so and survive anyway. If they insisted on being with me like this, I needed to lay down rules.
"You're scowling, what's wrong, Princess? Did I hurt you?" Warren guided me to the chair, cradling my cheek. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to get carried away."
"It's not that.'
"Well?" He raised a brow.
"Do you really want to know?" I glanced away. Why was I embarrassed to tell him this? Maybe it was because I was taking a stand for myself with it. Though talking to him was a very different matter than handling Nicholas.
"Princess, when it comes to you I want to know everything." Warren insisted.
