Thea's POV

As Anton came close, I became breathless. He bent over and kissed the side of my neck, he kept kissing and going downwards until he got in between my boobs. I wasn't in the mood for what he wanted but I didn't know how to say it to him. If I pulled away, he'll establish that something is wrong.

He looked into my eyes and stopped, "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I'm on my period," I quickly crafted out a lie.

"Is that why you have that look of disgust on your face?"

"I can even puke sometimes. It's normal. I'm so sorry." I tried to explain and make him understand that I wasn't pushing him away.

"Why do I feel like you are just trying to avoid this because of the little argument we just had. I told you already that this mansion and my empire means more to me than anyone or anything else. So you should understand that by now." He said in a not so nice tone.
