2 Rest day (Part 1)
*Leroy's rest day*
Chattering voices can be heard from the main house of the manor.
"Have you seen the young master?"
"I saw him walking a moment ago"
"Where?"
The attendants were in a panic, they were searching for Leroy in the whole manor.
Leroy was walking in the side of the garden next to a wall. They saw him and quickly ran towards him, they brought chair, food, table, napkins, eating utensils, and bunch of other stuff. Leroy get annoyed when the attendants go frantic like his parents are.
"Stop!"
He shouted as he pointed at the ground, the attendants stopped and looked at what he pointed at.
"Who ever crosses that line is fired!"
The attendants took a few steps back as they were shocked at Leroy's declaration.
"But, young master! Your parents want to make sure you eat every morning"
An attendant insisted. Leroy got so iritated that he scratched his hair like a lunatic.
"Quick! Bring towel and hot water! The young master needs a bath!"
The other attendants rushed to get the things the other attendant asked. Leroy fell on his knees, disappointed at their attendants. They misunderstood his actions.
"Stop! What is uevxuwbcia hahcgakvbru!"
He shouted gibberish as he could not take it anymore. The attendants looked at him with shock by the scene they just witnessed. His parents heard of the commotion and went to them.
"What is the meaning of this?"
His mother, Kris, asked.
"Mom! Dad!"
He shouted without a hint of respect. The attendants were shocked yet again.
"Ha! What is with that vulgar attitude?"
His father, Homer, asked Leroy.
"Can't I have a single day without a single attendant running around and searching for me all the time?!"
"That is no way to speak to your father"
His mother corrected.
He bowed gracefully and answered with a sarcastic tone.
"I'm sorry mother, IT'S JUST THAT IT WAS FOR BOTH OF YOU!"
His parents were taken aback, as well as the attendants hearing their conversation.
"Is that what you learned at the academy?!"
His father got angry and shouted back at him.
"If you do not have a fit body, no one will continue our legacy!"
"If I don't train now, there is no hope for your legacy to continue! I want to train now! So do not go in my way!"
His father was shocked, it was news that Leroy changed in some ways.
"That kid has really grown."
"We really are good parents"
They declared proudly to themselves.
Leroy just stared at his air-headed parents with pity.
"Go ahead my dear, Mommy is rooting for you"
"Be sure to eat after your training my son!"
His parents cheered and reminded him.
"I'm not a freaking baby anymore!"
The attendants smirked as they saw the comedy scene by their boss.
Leroy walked and slipped, an attendant tried to aid him but Leroy glared at her.
"Not a single word"
He said with eyes burning in anger.
*Harris rest day*
"Munch*
*Munch*
*Gulp!*
His mother, father and elder brother stared at him as he hurrily finishes his breakfast.
"Harris, dear. Can't you eat a little slower? You won't be able to enjoy your favorite dish that way"
His mother asked in worry.
"I'm done, I'm going back to the training room"
He said while wiping his mouth with a towel. His parents got worried for him, even his elder brother does as well.
"Are you okay? You have been going to the training room for the last few days. Is someone bothering you?"
His elder brother asked as he ate his food a bit slower.
"Nothing, I just want to train hard a little"
"Guess so, with him in your group there is nothing to worry about"
His elder brother remembered who Rai really was.
"About that brother, why can't you tell me or us about what really happened there?"
His brother was shaken by his inquiry. His parents were curious as well.
"It is confidential, even you as my family are not allowed to hear it."
He denied their curiousities. They asked him about it a few times but he always stay silent or do not say anything.
"All I can say that he is famous"
His brother's words rang into Harris' ears.
"Famous..... Now that you mentioned it. A Princess from the White Pearl kingdom transferred to our school just to see him."
"Pfffft!"
The food that his mother and father ate, flew on the table as they heard the news.
"A what?"
His father said while wiping the food in his mouth.
"He said a Princess my dear."
His brother was taken by surprise as well.
"What is her name?"
"If I remember correctly, it was Roxanne"
"So it really was her"
His brither was sure that she was the princess of the White Pearl kingdom. His parent looked at his elder brother after he confirmed it himself.
"Do you know her?"
They asked.
"Not a single adventurer would not know that name, she is a SSS-Class adventurer. Basically the strongest person in their kingdom."
"SS...S?"
"What kind of monster is she?"
They muttered as they stopped eating their food and got ingulfed in their conversation.
"How strong is she?"
"Hmmmm, lets see"
His brother touched his chin as he tried to calculate in his mind.
"Remember Dante Yujin? The former guildmaster of Pride?"
"Oh, that old man. He is quite a monster in his teens as well. I tried being an adventurer too, but I find it to difficult so I stopped."
"She is stronger than him a hundred times"
"Ting!"
The spoon fell from his mother's hand after hearing how powerfel she is.
"You are joking right?"
"I'm not"
His elder brother looked at Harris who was sweating a lot. He stood from his chair and walked towards his younger brother and patted his shoulder.
"Don't worry, my younger brother is going to be as strong as that in the future?"
Harris was surprised about his brother's remarks.
"How can you tell that?"
Harris asked. His brother smiled and said.
"You have a mark in you, a mark of ascension. You can not see it now, but in the future, you will"
His parents were delighted to hear his brother's evaluation about him.
"Be sure to eat a lot, both of you"
"I'm going to train now"
"Be careful my dear"
"Harris"
His brother called out to him, Harris turned to his brother who was wearing his serious face.
"There are a lot of monsters who are far stronger than her, be careful."
He took his brother's advice and left to train himself.
