SORROW IN A NEW LIFE

He did feel so stupid for being lost but the love he was given made his life complete.

Miles felt it was like a dream but that dream came crashing down when his aunt and his cousin arrived he was turned into a slave in that house.

He felt so depressed he did manual labour, he was forced to move to the servant quarters but what truly made him upset were the insults thrown at his parents, if he protested he would be asked to stand under the sun.

Life was depressing for miles who was a slave of slaves according to him.

Miles was informed through a letter that his grandpa wasn't coming back soon the old man elaborated in the letter that he would leave him under the protection of his aunt.

The young man's grandfather did send a knight to take care of him but his aunt would most certainly bribe him with money and even her body.

He did have the thought of running away but he had no where else to go he just pinned his hope on getting taller and more muscular.

SIX MONTHS LATER.

Miles became more handsome than ever his snow white skin glowed under the sun which always attracted the attention of his cousin's friends who giggle as they walk past him .

The girls became shy just seeing him topless his female cousin wasn't an exception . He didn't hate her she was very nice and cute her bashful nature added that spice which made you want to know her better.

She was his only true companion in the mansion unlike that bitch her mom who was determined to make sure he experienced hell on earth .

His aunt's son who had gone on a long journey with grandpa had returned home and she decided to host a party for her son, the mansion was decorated grandly.

Miles was confused he thought his grandpa was coming back, he grinned sheepishly but he knew he had to confirm the news, when he spotted Scarlet, he ran after her.

She was dragged by the arm, she could feel his breath, her face turned red when he held her waist she blushed even more .

He finally removed his hands from her waist , she pouted angrily.

"What is it?" she asked.

"Well little miss tell me what event aunt is hosting" he said fiddling with his long hair .

"Stop this seduction" she yelled

"if you ever call me little miss I'll... I'll" she stammered while glaring at him.

"Fine you win no more puppy dog eyes,my brother is coming home today" she said.

"oh" he exclaimed

"Don't just say "oh" , if you annoy him mom will kick you out of the house and you'll sleep on the streets for weeks". she sighed a little

"it's okay I've got this" he said

"You don't get it, I won't be able to save you if anything happens." she said with tears in her eyes.

"Look Miles I can't always protect a weakling like you." she ran out of their little hideout , he ran after her but eventually lost her.

He sighed softly while taking a deep breath right afterwards.

SCARLET'S P.O.V

My annoying brother is in the house i just hope he doesn't notice Miles .... it's not my business if that happens.

"Bam....bam....Bam."

"what's happening." i muttered to myself, it wasn't only me who heard the sound but everyone else, i ran upstairs to know what was going on.

I only met my idiot brother groaning on the floor, right next to Miles who kept punching him.

"Miles please stop let's go." i said dragging Miles away.

'Why did he do it.'

'I told him not to do it.'

"Ummm are you okay ." he said cutting the silence, his head was lowered not daring to look me in my eyes.

"No Miles, you had to fight with my brother." I yelled while hitting him on the chest.

"He started it, he insulted those I love and care for including you that bastard thinks he is something." he said biting his lips hard

"I told you not to do it." I broke into tears staining his shirt a little but I didn't care he drew me close for a tight hug, this dense bastard only thought of me as a little sister.

"What are we going to do now." I said between sobs.

"it will be okay." he said I was so mad at him but he played dum yeah he's good at that, my mom sent a maid to fetch me but I was very reluctant to leave Miles, a little voice muttered in my head "don't let him go" I felt if I let him go I wouldn't see him again.

I followed the maid after a lot of persuasion by Miles and the maid Ashley, it just turned out I was invited to a round of baseless gossip by my mom and her friends who were trying to pair me up to their useless sons.

My brother was whining like a girl shamelessly in front of all the guests complaining of how Miles beat him black and blue he was receiving karma for all his sins but I didn't want the price to be my dear cousins future .

....... Miles P.O.V ......

I don't know were I am all I know is that I've been kidnapped and I couldn't see anything, all I remember was me being surrounded by my aunt's henge men before being over powered, sedated and after all that I ended up here .

I think I got kidnapped a few minutes after the maid left, it was surely my aunt's doing , I could only blame my self for being dum.

"Bring him out" I heard a voice say after that I was viciously dragged out of the wagon or so I thought, they opened the blind fold allowing me to access my environment I was in some kind of market.

I was dragged to the auction house and was made to wear a kind of collar that would keep me in check and would not allow me to use my immense strength or speed, I saw other species around in the same condition as me with most being humans most of them were thin and frail while the rest just had torn or revealing clothes on.

"It's rear to see a vampire being auctioned off." I looked back to see who was seeking it turned out to be an elven girl two years older than me.

"It's strange to see a young elf being auctioned." I said.

"ha ha ha."she laughed "We all got stuck here due to our terrible lucks stop acting as if you've got it all under control." she said, those were the same lines I wanted to use on her.

"So how did you end up here?" I asked.
