Scarlet was concluding a small business transaction and so was Caishen, at that very moment, only his was a big one. In the morning, he had received an unexpected phone call from Ko Xiang with a request to cooperate on a project.
Even though it was a holiday, he went into the office because this was important business. It was another project which would make up for the loss they incurred in the last year.
Caishen could not make heads or tails on why Ko Qiang wanted to work with him, and even more surprising was the fact that the man showed up his wife and the first words out of her mouth when she saw him were, "Where is Alix?"
Despite this little surprise, the meeting had concluded successfully.
Ko Xiang was getting ready to leave Caishen's office but Caishen was not ready to let the man go without asking an important question.
