Chapter 55 - Nightmare

Thousands of kilometres away from Kendrill, deep within the storm sea, was an island called Nightmare. It earned it's name due to the thousands of demonic creatures that inhabit the island.
Nightmare Island is a dense, Jungle-like environment, shrouded in perpetual twilight. The air reeked of decay and ozone, while a thick fog covered the whole ground.
At the island's rocky shore, one would see a large thunder storm surrounding the whole island, threatening to consume it in all its fury. Far off into the distance, a large, white metallic platform that stood out of place could be seen, as something that hasn't happened in decades began to occur. A swirling white vortex slowly began to form, followed by a gust of wind that blew all the sand that was on the platform away.
