Chapter 40

 Antonio hugged her from behind, placing kisses on her neck and shoulders and Bella's face flushed. She liked every bit of his touch but she knew she was doing the wrong thing by letting another's woman's husband touch her this way. But then again what do you expect when she came her to act like his wife.

Antonio turned her around and captured her lips immediately, he slid his tongue into her mouth as their both tongue danced together passionately. The biping of Bella's phone broke them of their passionate kiss. It was the message Lilo was supposed to send for her.

"Freshen up and come downstairs for dinner!" He said calmly and left the room unhurriedly. Bella took a glance at the file Lilo sent, before walking into the bathroom. She freshened up in time and walked downstairs to the dinning room. Antonio was sitted there alone, the room seemed really quiet, which made Bella wonder if this is how he has always lived.

Even if her elder siblings were married Bella still had her parents and they ate happily together as a family. She wondered why most wealthy people isolate theirselves from their family. He was all alone in the dining room as if he did not have a family or anyone.

She walked in quietly to a sit, as the maid helped in dishing her food. "Did you get everything you need for the engagement party?" He asked quietly. "No not yet. I still haven't gotten my bags and shoes yet, maybe tomorrow before the dinner!" Bella said.

"Thought you loved to shop with your cousin, what brought about the change of mind?" He asked and Bella gulped at his sudden question. "She's been busy and I think it's only best to not disturb her, besides she said she would shop alone when she has the time!" Bella smiled making her words convincing and the man nodded.

Lately she's noticed Antonio's mood swings, most time he's upset about something or someone and other time he's Antonio, the all loving Man. She just couldn't decipher what goes on in his head.

Without Bella realizing it, Antonio had his doubt on the her, she was totally different from the Lilo he knows. Lilo is a classy audacious woman, the only woman bold enough to threaten him. The woman's whose attitude he could not stand.

How was she able to just transform into the kind of woman he loved?, the calm and naive woman, the one who drives him crazy. Her mesmerizing eyes awakens the beast in him and he had no idea on how long his beast would be starved cause it was so hungry.

Since the night he tasted her he has always longed for her, he wanted all of her.

Bella wanted to ask about his family but she got hold of her lips in time. If this man and Lilo are engaged it means she knows about his family. "How was work today?" She asked him and the two gray eyes stared at her astonished. She was suddenly picking interest in him, this is one of the things Antonio loved.

At least now he knew that deep down in those fragile heart of hers she cared about him. Her actions only made him fall for her.
