They all maintained the streak of silence until ZadKiel spoke up. "So how do we know she isn't like the rest of them?" He asked, directing his question to Engel.
Engel scowled at him. "She isn't." He vehemently declared.
"And how would you know?" Zadkiel questioned. It was expected of Engel to say that in defense of his wife, but Zadkiel was certain Engel knew what the elders truly wanted was certainty — Certainty that there would be no arrival of chaos. That was the reason they'd all gathered there and the only reason they'd leave Nevaeh alone.
