Chapter 23

Yuuto was silent, standing there in front of Bullet with one hand in his pocket and the other holding his cigar watching the emotional distraught Bullet. After a moment he take a puff before exhaling a mouthful of smoke and he…. Smile

He has a soft smile on his face as he walk closer to bullet who is still sitting down on the ground. Once he's in front of him he raise his hand, but Bullet still didn't move from his place and just wait for what is going to happens next

What he expect however didn't happen, he expect for Yuuto to lash out on him, Punch, slap or even outright kill him on the spot but that is not the case at all. Even when Yuuto has a smile that is strangely comfortable when he look at it, since he never get that smile from anyone, he still expect for Yuuto to do one of the things above.

But what Yuuto did totally bewildered him, His smooth uncallous hand land on Bullet slick back tied up hair and ruffled it playfully, his smile didn't leave his face even for a second

Bullet eye flicker and look up once against looking at Yuuto as he watch the strange man looking at him with gentle expression like a father soothing a sad child. An unknown warm ran through his heart for the first time in his life as tears start to well up in his eye

Bullet didn't understand this, in the years of living, in the years of surviving for his life, no matter how hard a challenge he face he never felt so….. vulnerable like he was at this moment. Sure, he has shed some tears in the past but never this… emotional

He has being seen with by people as a pitiful person no matter how true that was, he just hate it. He didn't like when people look at him with the eye that full of sympathy because he felt like it was the biggest insult that a person can throw at him

But when he look at Yuuto eye, he didn't feel any of it. His eye never had a hint of sympathy or pity in it, and although it will look like Yuuto is a cold hearted person, he genuinely appreciated this gesture.

"It's been hard right?" Yuuto said softly

That simple sentence that Yuuto said is like a thunder that struck to Bullet heart and the final straw to his defense mechanism as it shatter like a dam. The bottled up emotion he suppress all the years is rushing to his whole body, the tears that is welling up in his eye finally drop and he cover his face with his hand.

There's no wailing, no screaming. Just a silent sob echo by Buggy wailing sounding to the area. Yuuto just let the child in front of him let out his feeling as he watch over him still ruffling his hair, he will add a couple comforting 'There, there' in between his sob as he look at buggy and wink

Yuuto still remember the day where he need to comfort Buggy just like this and chuckle a little, although Buggy was just a 'little' to loud at that time compare to Bullet.

He then felt a tug on his pant and look down beside him, it's seems like Baby 5 also joining the fray as she also cry and seeking comfort from him. She just follow what everyone was doing as she also follow suit

'A child is still a child after all' Yuuto silently chuckle and scoop her up to his embrace with one hand while the other still petting Bullet head

"There~ There~"

It take a while for everyone to calm down and right now it's already starting to get dark and right now they all sitting around a bonfire that buggy made, waiting for the giant chunks of meat in front of them to finish cooked.

The meat is hunt by Shanks, Mihawk and Bullet that already calm down under Yuuto order while Crocodile is doing his own thing as the island is technically under him, so there a lot of stuff he need to pack up before leaving the island because the destruction around making the island already unusable and to reconstruct it will be taking a lot of time and money.

Well…. The biggest reason is the lack of people here as they all run away during the attack and technically Crocodile is only like a mayor in this place and he has no full control of what they do in this place since they pay him the protections fee.

Anyway~ [ Shit, I read to much of 'Monkey_Godking' ff]

Baby 5 is sitting on top of Hir- *cough* I mean Yuuto laps, leaning back on his sturdy chest while staring hard at the delicious chunk of meat that is hovering on top of the bonfire with drooling mouth. She is now wearing a brand new blue one piece dresses and is now fresh like a new born

She wipe the drool that is still leaking and continue munching the bread that Yuuto gave earlier but didn't take away her eye away from the meat as if she want to burn a hole in it

"Haha, the bread isn't enough for you?" Yuuto chuckle watching Baby 5 drooling from above her ruffling her hair. With his hair tied in ponytail he really look like a beautiful gentle woman with grace if not for his topless body that is now expose to the world revealing his sculpture like body, they will thought that Yuuto is definitely the most beautiful woman they ever saw

"You can just ask anything you want you know?" seeing Baby 5 hesitant eye Yuuto said softly at her

"Really!?"

"Yup" he give her an eye smile with cigarette hanging on his mouth

"Then….." She shift his attention to the meat that is deliciously floating rotating and point at it, before looking back at him " Can I have a taste of that? Mommy never let me eat meat before, she said that I'm not worthy to eat a 'decent' food" she said emphasize the word 'decent' while tilting her head since she didn't understand what that word meant

"Sure, just wait for a little while okay?" Yuuto said, didn't mention the topic about her mother didn't give her food and he already has plan o what to do with her and it's not a pleasant things for sure

"YAY~ Thanks Daddy" Baby 5 beam at him and hug his neck tightly, kissing her cheeks

"Hahaha, I love my baby girl too. Now how about we learn to read while waiting for the meat to cooked" Yuuto said as he grab his hoodie beside him and pull out a couple of kids book that look a bit worn out obviously the book is form a long time ago

"...."

Crocodile who is sitting beside Shanks watching the father and daughter bond with a strange expression when he look at Yuuto face and demeanor

" I think I get it now…" Crocodile said slowly

" Get what?" Shanks who is smoking calmly beside him ask

"Why the people on the cursed island is basically….. worshiping him." Crocodile said in serious face

" They worship him?" Shanks give him weird look when he heard that, he didn't heard that earlier

"You remember when I said that he's that bastard 'Boyfriend'" seeing Shanks nod his head he continued "After I rationally think about it, it might not be the case and looking at him now confirm my thought" He said remembering the time when he was in the island " Everyone there basically worship him or more accurately said they are a fanatic fans of him. At that place there are some sort of shrine or museum art where all the thing is inside is a sculpture, engraving, painting, all sort of art things that I don't know the correct word to describe for"

"But there's one thing in common about all of it" Crocodile said seriously as he lean back taking a mouthful of liquor from the gourd that Yuuto took out

"... What you mean is…." Shanks weird look on his face becoming even weirder as he guess the meaning behind Crocodile word. Mihawk that is not far away from them also interest in their conversation and is waiting for Crocodile to approve what he has guest in his mind.

" Yes" Crocodile nod his head solemnly " All the thing inside that building is model after one person, HIM" He point at Yuuto before continue " Everything from the sculpture, engraving, painting and everything else is model after him. That's why, the moment I recognize who he is I assume that Ivankov is into him since he's absolutely obsess him. But I forget one thing in particular…. One very important thing that denied all sort of thought that ivankov has anything to do with him... "

Shanks didn't said anything and keep waiting for Crocodile to finish his drink first

" That place is built roughly 150 years ago, by the Second king of Kamabakka Kingdom. I don't remember the detail of the history but, it's basically said that Yuuto did a HUGE favor for them and giving them something important, that's basically it" he the look intently at Yuuto and said " I thought that person already dead or at least is on his death bed by now, I didn't expect that he look exactly the same after all this time" he then turn to Shanks and said " How do you meet a person like him?"

Finish hearing what Crocodile has to say, Shanks fell into deep thought. He already roughly guess that Yuuto age is around 80 – 90 years old and has some method to maintain that young look, but he didn't expect that he is a LOT older than he guess. But that didn't change a thing of how he view Yuuto, he still has high amount of respect toward him

He break out of his thought after hearing Crocodile question and answer

"You didn't hear what he said earlier at Bullet?"

" No, I was deep in thought back then" Crocodile shook his head

"He's Roger dad, Our captain dad" Shanks said with a smirk, enjoying Crocodile stoic face turn into that of a shock. Yeah, he also has the same reaction when it was reveal to him

"W-WHAT!? T-that, that….." He took another mouthful of drink before calming down " I see…. that make sense. Only a monster can create another monster" he nod to himself, he once was lucky enough to watch Roger in action from a far and it's still imprint in his mind the scene where he effortlessly fought a bunch of another pirate alone and since then become a fans of him. He also know all the member of Roger pirate's since he keep track on everyone of them.

Yuuto is silently listening to their conversation smile a little but didn't say anything and let the kids be on their own as he's focusing on teaching Baby 5 how to read

"Okay, let's stop for now. The meat already cooked" He said to Baby 5 who nod eagerly at that " BOYS!!! Come here, the food is ready" He yelled

As they all come closer, Yuuto wave his hand and the meat that his rotating above the fire come closer to him. He take out a leather pouch, grab a handful of what ever ingredient inside of it and sprinkle it at the meat.

If previously the meat is already appetizing enough, now the meat can made even the most graceful people drool at the sight of it. Everything from the looks and smell just increase by 10x after Yuuto sprinkle it.

He chop the meat and divide it equally to the seven of them before float it near them

Shanks, Mihawk and Buggy is somewhat used to eating this kind of meal after being with him for months now but they still cant get enough of it each time they eat it and it never bored them either.

Baby 5, Crocodile and Bullet on the other hand is blown away by the taste that is full of flavor on just their first bite. Baby 5 is already in tear since It's her first time eating such appetizing meal beside the bread Yuuto gave her earlier

"This….. it's taste similar to the one I always ate but, how do I explain this. It's... a lot more flavor full?" Crocodile said slowly in between each bite. He is so surprise by the taste that he lose a little bit of his composure, he is by no mean poor. He has eat a number of delicious cuisine in his entire life and that he is also technically a royalty from his place he has taste a lot of it. But this…. This is on another level.

"Oh, Ivan is a loyal buyer of this seasoning no wonder you are familiar with it. But the one we sell is a downgrade version of this right here, you can only get it if you are member of our 'little' group" Yuuto said after hearing Crocodile mumbling

"….. I see"

"DADDY!!! It's DELICOUS!!!!" Baby 5 who woke up from her trance like state suddenly exclaim out loud

"Haha is it? From now on you can eat this everyday, so eat slowly" Yuuto laugh at the kid antic

" Really?"

"Of course. You can also made it yourself if you're hungry, I'll give you the seasoning later"

"But….. I can't cook" she said sadly

"Don't worry, this thing is a magical seasoning" he said as he show the leather pouch

"MAGIC!?" Baby 5 shine hearing the word magic

"Yes, Even I don't know how to cook, I just toss it to some edible thing and it magically taste good. It can even made rock taste like cake"

"CAKES!! I CAN IT ROCK NOW AND IT'S TASTE LIKE CAKE!! Hehe I didn't need to be hungry anymore and can try eating rock again" Baby 5 said seriously with her innocent face

"You eat rock before?" Yuuto look at her from above weirdly

"Silly daddy, of course I try eat before. But it's taste yucky" she said with tone that said as if it was common thing to eat a rock and made a face remembering the taste of the rock she ate in the past

"… Let's not talk about eating rock again. I can give you cake later" Yuuto said with a sigh

"Okay daddy"

With that little episode they all eat the food in silent with a little conversation here and there.

After they finish a peaceful meal Yuuto who is patting Baby 5 who is start to doze off in his lap ask Crocodile and Bullet without looking at them.

"So, what are you guys plan now?" He ask and then turn to Bullet before smirking at him "Still going on with your rampage or have another plan?" he lit up his cigarette before taking a deep puff

"H-Haha" Bullet laugh awkwardly while rubbing the back of his head and answer " Honestly speaking... I don't know anymore. My goal is still the same, to fight against the strongest man in the world but I still need a lot of training to do"

"Hmmm" Yuuto just hum at the answer before turning to Crocodile "What about you?"

" I'll settle elsewhere, maybe going to paradise and start a bounty hunter organization" he said after thinking for a moment

"Hm? Didn't you have a bounty on your head?" Yuuto ask, surprise seeing a pirate wanting to open a bounty hunter business

"*sigh* I'm not a some sort of criminal Yuuto, I'm just a small businessman making some change, I just happen to fight a marine captain in west blue and kill him since he fuckup my money flow" Crocodile rub his nose bridge remembering the day he got the scar on his face and said frustratedly

' Sounds like a criminal to me' he thought but nod nonetheless " I see, must been hard. Being poor I mean" Crocodile mouth twitch hearing Yuuto sarcastic remark

"…. Thanks"

Yuuto was silent for a moment before a smile appear on his face. He lean forward – as far as he can go since Baby 5 is sleeping on his lap – put fist at his cheek and said

"I have a proposal to both of you" they both perk up their ear when he said that

"I'm hearing" Crocodile said, Bullet just nod his head

"Bullet" he start with the big guy " Do you know an organization name Peaky Blinder?" Yuuto said vaguely and didn't explain much to him but instead ask him.

Bullet is surprise hearing the name in that question but nod nevertheless. Seeing he nod his ask Yuuto ask another question

" What do you know about them?"

"… I only know that there are one of the major force in the new world rivaling the emperor and some big kingdom, but they only dealing with the underworld and is said to have HUGE control over what can and can't be done in their ground. Beside that I have no idea what they are since that group is quite mysterious and what I heard is just a rumors that is floating around" Bullet said explaining everything he know about the group, the organization he mention is famous all around the but they rare make a huge move. So, beside the member there nothing much public know about it

Yuuto smile get brighter the more he heard Bullet talk

"Good, it's look like you get some basic understanding of them although some of them is not accurate, but that can fix later" He then grin like a wild cat " So, are you interested in joining them?"

Bullet sit there stunt. He didn't expect Yuuto to suddenly be direct with him

"This…." He don't know what to thinks at this moment, part of him telling him to accept it immediately but some part of him want to find himself first and take his time in dealing with things

" You don't have to answer now, you can decide what you want later" he then turn to Crocodile " Do your business dealing with Slave?"

" No" he shake his head denying the question " I don't do slave, I have morals I set for myself and the first thing after not becoming an Okama is not dealing with Slave or Slave Trader. But sometime things got out of hand and there some secret dealing behind my back that I cant do nothing about. I don't have enough power still, both physical and positon yet"

"Good, if you do I'll cut you head myself" Crocodile sweat a little bit hearing Yuuto nonchalant threat " How do you feel about partner with someone?"

"A Partner? If I said I don't care I will be lying, since I don't do well with people and it's depend on who is it"

"I see, you got a good head on you but don't have enough experience on leading an organization yet. I know a brat that is has some good skill in him but need someone to keep him in check and his girl ain't enough to reel his emotion. You don't need to answer, meet him first. I'm sure you kids get along well since your motivation and him are basically the same" Yuuto said remembering the brat that he save along with his girl from becoming a slave

Crocodile said there in silent for moment before asking another question

" What 's his name"

Yuuto already got up and carefully carry Baby 5 in his arm. Seeing that Yuuto got up they know that it's time to leave

"Where are we going Old man? Continue our training?" Buggy ask curiously as he float right next to him

"No, we guys can take a break for a couple of days before we began your real training." He made his ways to the shore and take out 3 surfboard and handing to his student " We will visit an acquaintance of mine since we are near."

As Shanks, Mihawk and Buggy jump to the sea and land on their surfboard. Yuuto turn around fish out something from his pocket and throw it to Crocodile and Bullet.

They both catch it and what they saw is a small leather bag

" If you made your decision open that bag, everything you need to know is in them" he took out his own surfboard and joining his three disciple on the sea "And if don't want to get caught you better leave now, the marine is coming here with a fleet, late as usual"

" Oh and before I forget" he turn to Crocodile

" His name is Tesoro"

[end of volume 1, I already reveal some of the influence Yuuto has in this world and there are many of them. Especially when he start to enter the new world.

As I said, this is Au one piece world. So if you guys have a problem of me not following the plot or follow to the T about the timeline then you guys can stop reading

I already have a rough world building in mind and development of the world and only have to put it to reality but sometime it's harder than it look

That's why I take time to write my story to not made it rush (also because I'm a slow typer) and it's HARD to made original plot and not to just use the original scene and just insert my character ( A LOT of people do these)
