Chapter 11- Enter Dr. Blair

Darkness turned to light, bright light. My throat felt like it had been rubbed with sandpaper. I had no idea if it was night or day. I peeled my eyes open. I tried to reach up to rub them, but my hands were bound to my sides.

I was fully awake now, and panicking. I tried to scream, but it was blocked by a cloth gag. My entire body was tied down on a bed. I could only move my head.

It was a fairly small room, with no furniture of any sort that i could see with my limited vision. Blinds were drawn over a single window.

I noticed that there was no one else in the room, not even Lukas. Where was he?

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted the inscription on the wall. I squinted, my contact lenses burning in my eyes. Bile rose in my throat once I'd read the silver plated writing:

PROPERTY OF THE US GOVERNMENT: AEXOSR

Chills ran down my spine when a voice spoke from behind me.

"Well, well, well. The daughter of Vivienne Boutillier lives after all. How fortunate for us."
