"Master!" a man bowed in front of his bossed and showed him a piece of paper, meanwhile, the boss just sat there tilting his head.

"What is this?" he pulled the paper from the man's hand and looked at it, "This is a piece of trash, why do you think I care about my little brother!? Let George do whatever the hell he wants, just stop pestering me in my free time!" he stood up and shoved the man away from his throne.

"Yes sir!" the man quickly walked away from his boss. "George, you arrogant dog."

"So what happens when we finished phase 2?" I crossed my arms and titled my head, "We'll go to the final phase." Astro pointed his finger at me, "It depends on what you choose to go, Shadow." he smiled at me while I was looking so confused, "What I choose?" I looked down and think.

"Example, if things go according to plan then it depends on what you wanted to do next, if it doesn't go according to plan, it's still on your decision on what to do next." he put the cup on the table and went to the bed, "I will sleep, tomorrow's a big day."

I nodded at him and he slept. (My decision, huh? Ever since they died, I've never really enjoyed the things a 12 years old would, I would never be able to play with my little sister, or be able to tell my stories to my parents...)

"You should go to sleep too, Shadow." Scarlet approached me and sat beside me, "Yeah, I will, I was just thinking about something." I held my hand and trembled, "Shadow, are you scared?" Scarlet randomly asked, "Huh?" I tilted my head, "Are you scared of being all alone?"

(Yeah. I'm really scared, I couldn't handle the pain alone, no one would go and wait for me everyday at home....that's why.....) tears came out of my eyes.

"I am so scared!" I burst into to tears, I cried in front of Scarlet, "I don't wanna be alone." I cried and she took my mask, she looked at me despite her mask is covering her face, I wiped my eyes, "I look pitiful don't I? I didn't even manage to protect what's precious to me and yet, now, I have to overcome and do all this alone."

She nodded silently and gently embraced me, "I know." she patted my back as I wept, after all that happened in the end, I ended up sleeping on Scarlet's lap.

The next day, I woke up with Astro beside me, snoring, I sat up from the bed and wiped my eyes, (My eyes kinda hurt, what happened?)

"Shadow, your up early." Astro held my shoulder with his hand and wiped his eyes, "Yeah, today's the big day after all." I smiled at him, "Huh?" I touched my face and my mask weren't there, "Where is it? Could I have misplaced it somewhere?" I panicked and walked around the base, "Shadow, it's on your bed." Astro pointed at my pillow.

"Ah." I rushed towards it and wore my mask, "Why're you still covering half of your face and even your hair, when we're at the safe base?" he tilted his head and raised a brow, "Many things happened many years ago, and I don't want anyone to see my face again." I scratched my neck and took my assassin uniform and coat.

"Huh? Where's Scarlet?" I looked at the cabin and she wasn't there, "She must've been left off to find Hollow." Astro replied while putting on his coat, "I see." I went out of the bedroom and towards the cabin.

"Today is an important day." I hopped down on the water and walked towards the shore.

"Oi. Wait!" Astro hopped down from behind and followed me, "Are you in a hurry?"

"I don't know. I just felt a little tense."

"Oho! Shadow, are you nervous for our mission?" Astro hooked his arm on my shoulder and laughed

"Yeah, seems like it." I replied

He sighed and went after me, we went into Gakuen's 3rd division base quietly.

"Yeah, we'll go as planned." It seems like that guy is the 3rd division captain, I looked at the other side of the building and some members of the 3rd division were there doing random stuffs.

"Shadow, come here quick."

"What?" I crouched beside him

"I'm going to kill that guy first." Astro pointed at someone and I looked at it, the guy he was pointing into is about to r*pe a girl.

"Go ahead, he's all yours, you have to make the girl go first." I sighed and went back to my station

I looked back and Astro wasn't there, (Thank you Astro, saving a girl from a jerk is a good decision.)

"You piece of turd! Can't you freaking see that I'm walking here?!" a guy held a bat arguing with someone smaller than him. I hopped down towards them quietly, and took his bat.

"What the f**k man?" he looked at me and clenched his fists, "Fighting someone smaller than you is a disadvantage of him" I used the bat as a weapon

"What did you say?!?!" he shouted and I swung the bat a his forehead, "Are you deaf?" he fell to the ground unconscious.

As the other guys froze to shock, I quickly hit their heads to make them unconscious, after taking all of them, I tied them all on the building beside where we fought, and burned them all with my power.

I went back up to our stations, and Astro was there, "What happened?"

"It ended up well."

"Did you set fire like I told you to?"

"Yeah, let's go and finish all of them."

We hopped down and ran towards the buildings, on the southwest side of the area, a fire was occurring due to what happened earlier. The numbers are increasing rapidly, my hand and dagger are all covered in blood.

"Come on little punk!" those were the last words of people who decided to fight me

Using only my dagger, my left hand is holding a telepathy card, Astro gave it to me earlier so that when we are far apart from each other, we can communicate.

A horde of guards surprised me upon entering the inner area of division 3, I annihilated each one of them, stepping on the left and pulling my arms against my chest always lay a big blow on the opponent.

My dagger pierced along their chests and their legs, I ran towards the head building which is where the 3rd division captain is.

I swung my dagger left and right, up and down, to kill those who interrupt me, someone managed to pull my hood from behind and I twirled towards him and broke his arm.

I pulled back my hood and continued to run towards the building, I was almost close on the door, but as I stepped unto the stairs, an immense soul energy came from behind

(Shade, can you feel it?)

<Yeah, it's most likely someone who is stronger than these men you killed.>

Tch. I opened the door and the 3rd division captain was there, sitting on a chair in the empty room with no things.

"Kiddo, you are one scary kid." as he said that to me, his hair stood up and his forehead can be seen, the annihilation aura was all over him, and a musk was surrounding him, darker than anything before.

I swung my dagger beside me to take off the blood from it, I changed my footing, my left leg is looking on straight meanwhile my right leg is facing the right side

I dashed towards him and swung my sword, aiming for his head, but he dodged.

I kicked his arm to break it and I succeeded, he smiled and held his hair

"Interesting." he punched back at me, I nearly got hit but I managed to slightly dodge, I stepped my right leg 3 feet apart from my left leg, and swung my dagger up.

This time his chin was hurt, "Kid." he panted and stumbled down, "Who did you bring here?" he looked at me and blood spurted out of his mouth.

(What? That's not possible, he shouldn't be dead if I only sliced up his chin.)

As the corpse fell down, and blood was spilling from his body, his stomach was stabbed, not long after I realized the situation, a tacking of boots came from the stairs.

"Hello. My name is Brendan Dolm, I figured you already know me so skip the introduction....." he raised his arms up and I was shocked

".....I believe this guy is one of your teammates." he threw Astro towards me and his head was all bruised, he could hardly breathe, and his left arm was broken.

"Now, it's your turn." he cracked his fingers and Astro tugged my coat, "Ru..n.....aw...ay" as Brendan jumped towards me I dodged and went outside the building.

(What the heck? This is the worst case scenario ever happened!)

"You guys are seriously messed up." he took out his blade and aimed towards me.

I looked back and casted the fire spell, I ran continuously and the fire was blazing around Brendan, I went to the tower and ran towards the bridge from the 3rd division captain's building.

I went towards Astro and carried him on my shoulders, I ran outside and looked everywhere, "Astro, you're awake right?!!" I panted and I could hear him breathe.

"Just wait, I will finish our mission and will heal you--" Astro taps my back

"aha....It's okay....I'm going to die anyway...you need to finish the mission, I don't want to be a burden....." he chuckled weakly as I ran fast

"Just a little more, Astro....I'll save you..."

(I don't want another someone who is precious to me would die...)

I ran towards a narrow path and put him down, I healed him with soul energy, he grabbed my hands, "Please don't consume your soul energy to heal me" he smiled even though his face is all bruised.

My eyes were teary, "Astro please.....don't die..." I continued to heal him and he kept moving, "Please.....Shadow! Please let me rest." he shouted at me

"Found you."

I looked towards my back and Brendan had found us! He swung his blade towards us and I dodged, I carried Astro and quickly ran.

"Is running really going to help you?!" Brendan shouted while smiling

(Damn it, my legs and arms can't handle Astro's weight!)

I looked back and casted an earth spell, the ground went up and served as a wall.

I ran and stopped to take another rest, I quickly healed Astro, and his face is better than before

*pant pant pant*

Astro was able to sit up and his left arm was still broken, "Shadow..." I looked at him and he slapped my face, "?!"

I touched my cheek and he was angry, "Didn't I tell you to go and finish the mission?! Why did you even bother to make me better huh?!" Astro shouted while crying

"Astro please, I cannot bear to see you dying!" I replied while trying to heal his left hand, then he shoved my hands away

"Shadow, please, I don't want to live anymore...please I don't want to be a burden anymore.....I don't want to be someone who is so pitiful enough to make someone help me....Shadow, thank you"--

As Astro said those words to me, my eyes widened as I saw him got stabbed in front of me, "Foolish little boys, I have come to annihilate you instead of annihilating me."

He threw Astro away, and as I drifted over Astro he was no longer breathing, he had lost so much blood and his chest was sliced.

"Shall we continue where we left off, Shadow?"

I looked down below without saying anything, I was silent.

"What's wrong, have I hurt your pride?" he licked his blade and aimed towards me.

I looked at him with furious eyes, I couldn't even speak.

My mind, my body, my power, and my soul has agreed to one fact: I will make him suffer.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

I shouted loudly than normal, I couldn't even feel my throat.

"I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'll kill you. I'LL KILL YOU!" I took my dagger out and attempted to stab him but he dodged, "Haha, interesting little ra--" I punched him with soul energy hurling on my right fist.

He stumbled down towards the dirt, and he quickly stood up, I dashed towards him and kicked his stomach, then pierced his arms, "We were clashing our blades and now you simply want to brawl?!"

He held my head and raised his knee, he pushed my head towards his knee, and it destroyed my mask, blood came out of my nose.

"Ghk!" I stepped back while swaying, I wiped my nose and he dashed behind me, "I am not done yet!" he put his left hand on my face and charged his lower body with soul energy.

He jumped and pushed my through the buildings, and used me as a shield to al those stones that hit my head, he threw me towards the air and he jumped higher than me.

"DIE!" he swung his arms up high and hit me at my head, I fell down because of the pressure, dusts were there everywhere.

He landed down safely while I was there laying on the broken ground with blood all over my face, "Oi oi oi. You're already done?" he crouched down and smiled at me

(I'll kill you!) I couldn't move my arms, my body or my head, am I going to die?

<Rest easy, Adam, you've done enough.>

Everything was black, and I couldn't feel anything.

*Adam was all roughed up by Brendan until he was blacked out. Not long after, Shade helped his body to stand and to fight?*

~Adam was unconscious because of Brendan's attacks, and his soul was not longer in his body but, Shade took the responsibility and controlled Adam's body when Adam's soul was no longer there.
