Corruption of the World [1]

"This is a massacre." My hands were trembling, who would achieve something like this in only one night?

"Don't worry, no one will do a surprise attack on us, since Astro and the others have checked." he patted my shoulder and investigated the corpses. I kneeled to see more details on how he killed these people.

"It seems like he used the "ripper" technique." he held a corpses neck and as he felt the neck's texture, it seems like the victims were first sliced by the throat and then took away the person's organs.

As I was spacing out to know the situation I felt a presence that jumped above the roof, I widened my eyes and decided to follow it, "Where are you going?" Hollow looked at me, "I need to go somewhere." I replied while running out of the pathway, as I thought he let Scarlet to follow me so that she can cover me up.

I soon as I exit the city, the presence disappeared, I pant. "Scarlet, sorry but could you stay with me for a little longer?" I looked at her and she nods.

(It would be troublesome to let Scarlet go back to Hollow, the presence might've suspected us and decided to lure us out, but it would be a shame to lose someone like Scarlet, we should let them be.)

"I'm surprised." smoke came out in front of us and voice came ringing into our ears.

I took out my dagger and Scarlet did the same, I decided to cast an earth spell to make a decoy but it was too late.

"Shadow....." Scarlet tugged my shirt behind me and she seems to be retreating, I looked back and raised a brow, she made a sign to retreat fast so that the others won't die.

(This is bad. It seems like Scarlet has caught up into their plan.)

I sighed and made a run for it, we headed back towards the others and they were still alive.

"Adam, stop acting tough and suffocate already!" a voice wailed across the pathway

"Who are you?" I pointed my dagger towards the unknown voice, "Don't play dumb." as soon as he said that phrase he walked in front of me and a load of smoke followed him.

"You're--" I tried to use my hand from the right and he stopped it mid air with his own hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is George Dolm." he shouted and looked at everyone out here, he then chuckled.

Someone tugged my shirt from behind, I couldn't look back, I mustn't. If I would, George would kill me off guard. Hollow took out his sword and threatened George at his left side.

"Drop him down, or I'll kill you." he stepped closer to him and George smirked, "Fine, here." he released my arm and puts me down.

"I suggest you put your masks down, I already know who you all are." he raised both of his hands in the air and smiled, "Shut up and kneel down with your hands up." Hollow stepped closer and closer.

"Alright alright, geez." he obeyed Hollow's commands

As soon as Hollow came closer to George to arrest him, George pulled his sword away and pulled both of his arms towards him, then he pushed Hollow's body into the ground.

"People like you should stop joining organizations like this." George chuckled and squeezed him down to the ground, I stepped in to stop him but as soon as I looked down on Hollow, he smiled.

Hollow pushed his hands on the ground making him stand up despite George's hold, he then turned around facing George and headbutted George, after the collision George released his hands and touched his forehead.

"See? I don't do that if I wasn't prepared." Hollow laughed and art of his masked broke, seeing only his dark red eyes, he seems a powerful person.

"Hollow....." I looked at him

"But, you sure are a very dangerous person." Hollow touched his forehead

George chuckled and raised his hands on the air, Hollow stares at him form behind, "I don't intend to make a scene here, I just need to take back Shadow." he smiled at me, meanwhile, Hollow took his sword and poked it at George's nape.

"Are you gonna kill me?" George chuckled, "No, I'm just going to threaten you of course." Hollow tilts his head

"Fine fine, I'll explain everything to you later, Shadow." George bid farewell while he was being pushed off by Hollow, Hollow looked at me and he seems to be smiling.

"Scarlet and Shadow, you guys bring the others back." he pointed at his pet dragon, both of us nodded and left without saying anything to Hollow or even George.

"Hey, George.....how have you been?" he cracks his fingers and his eyes were narrowed

"I've never been so alive for years, Alan." he responded with a smile while standing in front of each other.

"Don't call me by my first name, George." he punched George's face and he touched the ground, "?"

"That's my line!" George casted a fire spell below Hollow while being hit, but as soon as Hollow noticed, he dodged backwards for a slight.

Flames was blazing around them, "Tch." Hollow moved forward and raised his right leg, it hit George on his jaw. George pulled his arms away from his body to lay a big blow on Hollow.

The wind came stronger around his fist, charging big amounts of soul energy towards his right hand, "Ngaaah!" he managed to punch Hollow on his lower body, the impact was big, blood came out from Hollows mouth.

"KH!" Hollow clenched his fist and gritted his teeth, he landed an uppercut on George, with all his might, he channeled some of his soul energy towards his left leg

To be able to reach George's head, he stepped in closer and landed a kick on George's cranium. Finally, George kneeled down and touched his head.

"Gosh, I've becoming a little rusty on using fists and all those kicks." he brushed off the dirt from his shirt. George looked down and was silent, for a moment, a sword was pointed in front of him

"Choose. Die here or tell me everything." Hollow looked at George and channeled all of his soul energy to his sword, "I never wanted all of this to happen.....all I wanted is all the bad guys go to hell." he spoke quietly

"What's that supposed to mean? I hate people who says things that leaves the whole understanding of the statement to others." Hollow sighed

"I want to cleanse the world, I want to save everyone." George looked up on Hollow, "I want you to help me cleanse this world, along with Shadow and others who is worthy to work with me." George smiled and stood up

Hollow lowered his weapon, "I won't follow your commands and be your slave but, I DO intend to cleanse this world from the darkness."

Both of them raised their hands aligned at their stomach.

"Deal."

The battle begins.....
