"You're all the news talks about these days." Austin grumps, snatching the remote out of Rex's hand.

"Hey! I was watching that!" 

"Oh were you now?" Austin drawls, not minding Rex and switching the program to something else, a cartoon. "What's even the point of watching the news when you know every terrible thing that happens on it?"

"How would I know everything that's on it? I'm not a god." Rex scoffs, giving up on the remote and instead pours some bottled liquor down his throat.
