Fawn, Austin and I rushed over to the medic tent in question, by the time we arrived the sun had set and the biting winds blew harsher against my skin. But even as we arrived almost an hour late, the fire still rages.
Gaping at it I can't believe my eyes, the medic tent...the one Paige.
"Oh god." I gasp, my throat tightens up right after and I can't offer any more words.
Fawn bursts out of the Jeep, her hands glowing like molten metal as she juts them forward and the raging flames react as though shoved. With a clap and a pull she lures the flames into her waiting hands, moulding each wisp of fire until she has a large ball of fire and the building is free of all burning.
At her will the flame dies and dissipates into nothingness, but the building remains. Charred, blackened and groaning with each huff of the winter winds.
