Leaving the past behind
It is a happy day in the world for they are celebrating the 10th anniversarry of Nirvana, the most popular virtual game in the world, with almost 1 billion game player, but its also a big day for Kiko it is his 18 birthday Nov. 07 2200 the day he was born.
Kiko is an orphan and in his 18 bithday he will start his own life without the kids in orphanage or the staff and volunteers.
"Kiko are you really sure you want to be independent? You can live here with us and help other kids without parents, we can give you allowance every now and then, if you stay here with us?" the Head of the Orphange said.
"Yes Maam im ready to start my own life, i have already come of age, and i gues it's the right time to stop being a nuisance in the orphanage. All my life i have been eating food for free and live more comfortable than other kids along the roads, i guess its time to open another space for other kids, dont worry maam i will not forget the goodness the orphanage has shown me." Kiko resolutly said
He stand up and exit the room and start to wade through the corridors of the orphane until he arrive in one room where guitar playing is heard.
Kiko knocks the open door " Sir Larry can i interupt you a bit?" He said to the man who was playing the guitar.
"Sure, sure. Come in." Larry said and prepared a chair for Kiko "Sit here" He pointed in the chair he prepared
" Ahm Sir i just want to thank you for taking care of me while im in this place, and also for teaching me how to play that guitar it was the best time in my life ." Kiko emotionally said
"ahh my Boy dont be emotional about it, its my job to take care of you and teach you kids some stuff. im also thankful that i got to know you kid, you were the best in all the kids i have thaugt." Larry proudly said
" As my parting gift ,here take this guitar i was just finished tuning it right before you came. Take care of her for me will you, and piece of advice Kiko the world is not merciful out their you may face lots of challenges but just dont give up okay." The Old man hugged Kiko and pat him on the back
"Always stay true to yourself Kiko, and true friends and true relationship will come. Anyways so much for dramas, prepare your things and get going now." Old man Larry shooed Kiko away.
Kiko almost cried but held them in as they said their goodbyes Kiko finally went out of the orphanage,as he glance at orphanage all memories flashed in his thoughts how he was always bullyed by kids, how Larry his only friend and an thought him to play guitar and many more.
He put it all back in his mind started walking down in the path of independence as he put on his back pack and hold his guitar he step out in the grounds of the orphanage.
" This is a risk i must take or i will eventually live a average life if i stay." Kiko gripped his Bag and started his new life and new adventure
