Mystical Space

"So bright!" Aezir exclaimed. Slowly, he got accustomed to the lighting. A scenery that was beyond his wildest imagination appeared in front of him. His mouth was agape as he looked at the spectacle before him. There were plenty of floating landmasses in the form of inverted pyramids roaming in the air. Colorful vegetation can be seen all around. The land he was stepping on was still of the color of soil, but it was bright and enticing. Flying all around the area were countless beasts beyond his knowledge.

Then in a distant location, there stood eight gigantic pillars with heights trumping that of the floating landmasses. It can be seen that each pillar had a specific Runic Engraving in them that emits a majestic glow. Unique to the pillars, though, there was one with a dim Runic Engraving seemingly of no effect anymore. Aezir was brilliant and quickly thought that those pillars must hold something special in them. Then, he thought about why one was unlocked only to see Khavahk and realize that it was him who was previously sealed to one of them. Fear and excitement filled his heart since this meant that there were other supreme figures on the other pillars.

"This is majestic. Where are we?" Aezir inquired.

"This is called a Mystical Space. When you are strong enough and have the right set of tools, you can create one. Everything that is inside of it is a creation of the master of the space using the Universe's Essence." Khavahk explained

"Are they real?"

"Yes and no. Here, they are real. They are tangible, and the creatures possess a certain amount of intelligence. However, they are still the creation of a being, not a universe. On that note, they are not. To further this, they cannot come out of the Mystical Space since they will be condemned by the Universe, returning them to their original form, Universe's Essence." Answered Khavahk.

"This is amazing!"

"Keh! You only say that because you have never seen the world. There are a lot of places more beautiful and dazzling than this one. Compared to those locations, this one is garbage."

"You are just bitter since you were sealed here." Mocked Aezir.

"Bastard!" Sneered Khavahk.

"So, why did you bring me here?" Asked Aezir.

"You cannot feel it yet since you are not bounded with any beast yet, but the Universe's Essence here is almost ten times denser than that of the outside world. This allows one to quickly upgrade the Mark of the Beast."

"Why do you feel it? I do not see any tattoos on you. Oh, is it on your--"

"Moron!" Slowly, more than ten white tattoos formed on Khavahk's skin. Aezir immediately felt immense pressure from the tattoos. 'What the hell? These are just tattoos, and I am being suppressed like this. Plus, he is just a spirit is he not?' He exclaimed in shock. "It is customary to hide your Marks since revealing them will give information to your enemies."

"Woah," Aezir was unfamiliar with this since those from the village were all showing their tattoos. "So, only by being contracted to a beast can you feel the Universe's Essence?"

"Yes, and also, change your term. You are not contracted; you are bounded to a beast. Once you are bounded with one, it will be your partner forever. You will experience countless battles with it. It is not just some contract that you can sever. It is an Eternal Bond that can only be severed by death." Khavahk suddenly became solemn after those words.

"I will take that in mind." Aezir politely responded.

"You seem like a good kid, so let me give you an opportunity. Worship me as your master, and I will grant you blessings of a lifetime." Khavahk said with dignity. His initially playful demeanor became stern and serious.

"With all due respect, sir. I plan to reach for the stars. I want to be someone who can trample the world by my will. I don't plan on submitting to anyone." Aezir said with conviction. His eyes were glowing and firm. It did not exude forfeit at all.

"HAHAHAHA! You are funny, kid. What you say makes sense, but you need to realize that there are countless masters in the world. You can never know everything and must have people teach you some things. You are bound to have a master." Khavahk laughingly said.

"I am not a child. Do not play words with me. There is a big difference between a teacher and a master. I will never be a slave." Aezir said while glaring at Khavahk.

"HAHAHAHA! I guess you are right." Khavahk looked at Aezir once more. He was quite moved by his determination and goal of Aezir. He wondered if his bold refusal was because he did not know who Khavahk was or because of the reason he stated. Nonetheless, he was moved by his conviction.

"You know, I was the chief of our tribe. We were not known back then. I only had one thing, determination. I had the heart to contend against the world and rise up no matter the circumstance. It did not matter who I was facing, I boldly charged and defeated them all. That is how I got my position. I see that determination in you. Let me be your teacher, I lead you to a life of prosperity." Khavahk turned serious again. He solemnly reminisced his past. It was indeed challenging back then. There were countless adversities that almost made him quit; however, he did not. That is why he got to the status he once had. He saw that determination in the eyes of Aezir.

"I will not be as idiotic as you. I am indeed determined, but a bright man knows when to fight, and a brave man knows when to back out." Aezir teased once again. "Ack! Get off!" He exclaimed since Khavahk was choking him with the latter's arms.

"HAHAHAHA! You sound just like my old friend. Keep that mindset! So, what do you say?" Chuckled Khavahk.

"Ack! Fine, fine! Let me go!" Aezir might have said it lightly, but he took it to heart. In the subsequent days, he was constantly reminded just how great his choice was.
