"Did I get her?" Jamie said as she extended her senses to the maximum and located a small and weak trace of mana fluttering about.

'Seriously? That wasn't enough to defeat her?' Jamie thought as she gathered up more mana to fire again.

Even in the elite group that was Arcenciel, only a few were able to take her sunflower attack head on and they would still take tremendous damage from it.

She could sense that Cynthia hadn't reached the level of those power houses which meant that she should have perished from the blast.

"Perhaps it is an effect from her Nature magic." Jamie muttered as she locked on to the mana she detected and fired several smaller scales beams at it from different directions.

They crashed into their target and the mana and life force finally disappeared but there was still this uncomfortable feeling left in Jamie's heart.
