The Working Witch

Meet Yvette, the supposed "Wicked Witch of The West." However, there isn't much wicked left in her nowadays. She is now retired from that old position and greatly enjoys her time as a shopkeeper, watching as people come in and out, enjoying the trinkets and blankets that she has. There couldn't possibly be a better life, and this is exactly what this is, a great life. So please join Yvette on her not so grand adventure, as she enjoys all the little things in life. Just a small heads up, I procrastinate and occasionally have the will to update any of the stories I write, so if there isn't an update in a while, don't worry. This is a hobby for me, and I will not make this a chore/job. I hope you understand well, and have a good day.

The Shop | Part 2

As the witch watches the man walk away from the store, a small meow can be heard from below her.

"Oh, Angel! Where have you been!!" she cried out, scooping a black cat up into her arms, cradling it, and rocking it back and forth.

She looked down upon the cat that was in her arms, a small tear forming. She pet and gently scratched the cat, giving it so much love that you'd think the cat would explode. But in truth, this was the first time she saw the cat in many months. She greatly loved this cat, and the cat loved her. She doesn't know why her Angel ran away, and she hopes to find out, but alas, she will not.

"You are such a problem child nowadays, Angel! I can only imagine why you ran away, now let's take you back your room for now. I'll wrap everything up and make sure you are taken care of," she says as she walks through a door behind the counter.

The cat wiggles and purrs inside the witch's arms as she walks through her house, and she then places Angel onto the couch.

"There we go, Angel. Now you can rest here, and I'll get you some food. I hope you'll like it," says the Witch.

The Witch walks away from the cat, watching as he sits there and curls up, falling asleep not a moment later. She's finally able to enjoy her life again, and she is content with everything that it happened. It was probably the best thing that could happen to her because this supposed "wicked witch of the west." Wasn't as wicked as many thought of her to be.

"Yknow, that smile really suits you, Yvette. Have you being doing well?"
