*Veronica saw a girl clinging over Kalied.

One of the girls she was talking to was Elina,her father was a nobel men. Veronica found her genuine towards her.

*Elina noticed Veronica glancing at them.

Elina-- She's ROXANNE!

She spoke out of nowhere. Veronica was amused by her sudden words.

*Elina continued

Elina-- Roxanne is daughter of duke Sendrick, Technically Roxanne would have married Kalied if the agreement thing wouldn't have happened .

Veronica-- Do the Young Emperor likes her?

Elina-- Well, I don't know about that but she's always been clingy on him, as they know each other from when they were kids.

*Elina teased Veronica and said, " You might take her as a Rival In Love.

*Rival in Love??!...Neither There's love nor I want a Rival, she thought. But She said, "Oh Really" ,and laughed along with Elina.

Kalied was looking for Veronica, He was tensed as he didn't wanted to leave Veronica with other vamps out there.

He saw Veronica laughing and talking with nobelity daughters, Kalied was relieved after seeing her getting along with them easily. But then his eyes darkened with a second thought .

* She's so scared while she's with me but she seems pretty happy here, Does she hates me so much??! . Kalied thought.

Veronica felt a cold and dark aura, she turned back just to see Kalied standing behind her.

*Roxanne was calling him with his name, whereas everyone else even Veronica in public doesn't takes his name. "They seem pretty close" , Veronica thought and preferred continuing talking with Elina.

*Roxanne came in middle of them and held Kalied's arm, saying.

Roxanne-- Is she the one you married??

Kalied-- Didn't your hear Marcus just now?!

*Roxanne's fake smile faded and Elina smirked.

Roxanne is usually ignored but this time she was disrespected by Young Emperor which pleased Elina as she didn't like Roxanne's behaviour towards Veronica.

*He unhooked her hand from his arm and said to Veronica

Kalied-- May I dance with you, Young Empress Veronica.
