Chapter 9

They arrived in The Bahamas safe, got off the plane and headed to the hotel. When they got there he realized she had only booked one room , with one bed.

"We always book two rooms." he said

"Well do want your own or you want to sleep beside me?"

"I'll take the latter." he replied.

They went to the room, she took a shower and came out in just a towel. Afterwards he went and had a shower also. When he got out he asked;

"So you had sex with him ?"

"Yes, I needed to be sure, before I made my choice."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"The moment we had sex , I was ready to forget all he did and take him back but, I had to catch myself and realized that, you are crazy about me and I want you too."

She had it figured out now, a good man, a good career, making her own money, depending on nobody. She was happy, Ryan made her happy. She finally found THE WOMAN IN HER, the grown woman who knew her worth, value her self, and would never allow one good moment to shadow all the bad. She was stronger than ever. So failure, isn't such a bad thing, that failed relationship, is the reason why she found a good man today. A man who respects her, values her, love her for who she is.

They spent their few days on the island having fun and enjoying each other company and each night he would lay and cuddle her. He wanted her, so sex, he didn't have to rush. They took their time. After their trip, they got home and resumed work. Instantly you could tell the two wasn't just friends anymore. As she sits in her office Nathaniel showed up.

"Good morning beautiful. "

"Good morning Nathaniel, how are you?"

"Missed you , haven't heard from you in a few days, heard you were on vacation."

"yes I was."

Soon after, a delivery came for her, Ryan sent her roses. The delivery guy came in and placed them on the desk, she smiled the brightest smile ever.

"See you got an admirer." Nathaniel said

"No she got a fiancé..." they both looked in Ryan's direction as he got on one knee.

"Sarah Will you be mine forever, so I can treat you how every other men failed to treat you?" he said

She was shocked, in awe. Nathaniel looked at her as her lips said

"Yes, ill spend the rest of my life with you."

" Just few night ago she was with me though." Nathaniel said

"Oh shut up..." Sarah replied

"I know and that is exactly why I did this so she won't make that mistake again. " Ryan said as he kisses her.

Nathaniel walked out but by the time he got to the door she said.

"You had me, I learned lessons being with you, everything you did to me lead me to someone better, thank you for helping me realize who I was. Because of you, I found THE WOMAN IN ME."

Nathan walked away with his head hanging low. All he put her through, he actually did her a favor. There was actually good that came from the situation. Because of everything, she now knew what love really felt like, she now knew what a good man was like. God does answer prayers. This was God's way of telling her that, no need to take revenge yourself, he will do it for her, in the best way and with patience that way was perfect. What better revenge was there, crossing paths with a man who did you wrong, just so he could watch you glow up and be better. About 3 days after Nathaniel quit his job and went back to England. No one knows what became of him. Who really cared though. Be mindful of how you treat people. Sometimes we treat people a certain way and we often regret it, its okay to treat people good even when they are mean to you, let them be the one living in regret instead of you. Be the bigger person. Make the bigger and better choice.
