The wolfs mate

Max locks the door behind them and crouches down next to Marcy they are both shaking. Max lifts her phone and notices that Dexter hung up. The girls are locked inside with no way of knowing what is happening outside of the bathroom door. They know the wolves have arrived, they are there to try and protect them because they can hear howling and screaming coming from right outside the door. Marcy held Max as she cries quietly into her shoulder and they both slide down the bathroom wall to crouch on the floor. The screams and banging continue from outside the door and it sounds like the whole house is going to cave in at any moment. After the girls huddle there for what feels like hours the house suddenly goes quiet. Marcy looks at Max and asks "where is Ian, do you think he knows?" Max hugs her tight and looks around the bathroom as if she is trying to figure out their next move. "Max" Dexter yells from downstairs. Max slides herself across the bathroom floor and places her hand on the door. "It's gonna be okay" max says and lifts herself off the bathroom floor and then swings the door open ready to Sprint down the stairs to Dexter, but Max is met with Ian's gaze instead. His eyes no longer an emerald green they are now a dark mossy color filled with hear and rage only enhanced by the hunters blood on his cruel twisted face. "I'm gonna go see who needs my help" max stammers as she ducks around Ian who was looking through her and right at Marcy any ways. "Marcy" Ian says as he moves twords the woman who is still curled up shaking involuntarily in the corner of the bathroom floor. He reaches out his hand to help her up "are you okay?" Marcy looks up to meet his gaze and nods her head reaching up to his extended hand. Ian pulls Marcy out of the floor and can read the shock on her face. "It's okay, it's gonna be okay.

Heading home

Heading home Marcy feels relief as she notices that the care in the mirror that has been fallowing them since the hospital is actually Ian. Marcy pulls out her phone to text him.

*Text from Marcy

What are you doing, I thought you went home.

*Text from Ian

No, I said I was leaving. I never said I was going home. I had to make sure you made it home safely after the night you had.

*Text from Marcy

You might want to be careful people might start to notice you have feelings for me... Haa

Marcy looks at her phone smiling waiting on Ian to message her back, with no answer Marcy slides her phone into her purse and looks back into the mirror where Ian has fallen further behind them. Marcy sighs wondering if she had said something wrong. Any other time Ian would respond with a sexual or sarcastic response...and Marcy had no response at at all. Lisa looked at Marcy sitting in the passenger seat looking rougher than when they left the hospital, probably due to the frown she now wore. Lisa asked "are you hurting, are you okay?" Marcy knew her aunt Lisa was afraid she was in pain, though she was in pain it was no longer due to the beating she took last night on the beach. "I'm fine" she responded flashing her aunt a weak but convincing enough smile. With a nod Lisa pulls into the drive way and says "let me know if you aren't okay...now let's go home". Lisa jumps out of the car and ran around to the passenger side to help Marcy out of the car. "I'm fine, I promise" Marcy grumbles as she steps out of the car past Lisa. Knowing Aunt Lisa was only trying to help Marcy grabbed her by the hand and repeated back to her "let's go home" as they both walk inside.

After getting home Lisa tucked Marcy into bed and offered to make her food, Marcy declined making it very clear she was distracted. Lisa assumed it was from all that she had just gone through. An incounter like last night would shake even the strongest person up. Knowing Marcy needed time and to rest Lisa simply kissed her on the head as she said "I love you, let me know if you need anything" and with a simple yet reassuring pat on the hand Lisa left Marcy alone in the room shutting the door behind her.

Marcy now alone lays on her back just looking up at the popcorn ceiling unable to sleep. Laying there with the previous nights events now playing over and over in her head. There are so many questions she has but even shaping them into physical sentences seems more impossible than the situation she has now found herself in. Marcy sits up placing her head in her hands with and sighs "Ian" as though it will help her process her emotions, trauma and feelings for Ian that she had fought for so long. Marcy's head shoots up to attention with the scratching now coming from the window. Marcy froze while knots build in her stomach. More scratching comes from the window as Marcy slides her legs over the side of the bed. Marcy moving almost against her own will, gets up and walks twords the window. Now she is right in front of the closed rough yellow curtains frozen in fear Marcy just stands there for what seems like forever her eyes wide and heart racing.at that moment Marcy flinched when another noise came from outside her window this time it wasn't scratching however it was whimpers. Not like crying from a person but like a puppy whimpering outside her window. Before Marcy knew it she was yanking the cotton curtains open with sheer force. To her surprise there layed her wolf with emerald eyes only inches from her.
