Trevor walked to the wall by the right and grazed his fingers along the glints. He looked inwardly and discovered there were tiny pores behind the glints, from which a different kind of light shone.
"Over here, I think I found something," Trevor said.
They all came to him to check what it was.
"This wall seems easy to crack. I feel there's another chamber behind this," Trevor said.
"Wait," Kahil said and pressed his hand against the wall for a few seconds. "Move back everyone."
As soon as everyone moved back he struck the butt of his gun against the wall and it fell into shambles, revealing a colony of splinter worms, wobbling and rattling. Here, they were everywhere -- on the walls, ground, and above. The rattle sounds got more furious and the smell they perceived through their masks got stronger.
"We've got no time here," Kahil said.
"Glowie, nah!" Trevor said and Glowie burst into the colony and began to rip them apart with her fangs and her claws. They kept hearing blurting sounds while Glowie did that, goo splashing all over the walls.
"A little gentle, Glowie," Trevor said.
Glowie did her work there for some time and there were a host of the worms lying dead. She came back to them with her mouth drenched in the goo.
"We'd be needing just the fluids I guess," Kahil said, bringing out a bottle from his pocket. He squatted and squeezed out the fluids from the bodies of the worms into the bottle and dropped all of them like worn-out clothes.
He was done in about five minutes when the bottle was filled. The liquid was green in color, and each worm produced little of it, so he had to squeeze alot of them.
He held the bottle before him and smiled at it. "Guess we are done here."
They got to Jona's door and they heard that same voice they heard when they first came, telling them to take off their masks and drop it on the ground, so the rains from above would wash of the goo from them. She said she could command any type of rain to fall. The one that would fall on the masks contain some resins that'd clean it up maximally.
As for Glowie, she'd be given a good bath by Launa before she comes inside. Launa kicked against the idea of allowing the rains fall on Glowie. She came out of the house and took Glowie to the backyard to wash her up.
The rest got into the house and showed what they had gotten to Jona.
"Now this is what I'd use to make it," Jona said. "Been long I held something like this."
"You're making it right away I guess," Expresso said to her.
She looked at him and looked at them all. "Come with me."
She took them to her backyard where she raised alot of strange plants and trees. There, at a corner, they saw Launa bathing Glowie passionately, but that wasn't what they came for.
Surrounded by a thorny mesh, was a flower bed where little pink shrubs were grown in a beautiful array. Jona took them all there and began to say some interesting things about the shrubs.
"We are looking at the Founou shrub. This shrub was shown to me by my grandmother. It is mostly grown around rocks and it's hydrophobic," she said.
"Really? You don't water these beautiful things?" Marie said.
"Within the soil you find chips of rocks there. Pour water on it and it looses it's contents," Jona said.
"Now I regret not coming with my note book. Alot of things that shouldn't be left to pass by," Expresso said.
"And why do we stand here?" Itsuki asked.
"The Founou plant is what I mix with the goo to produce the aura you need to reach the hiona wolf. The Founou plant releases it's contents into space in form of aura, and the content released are dependent on the kind of liquid you use on it --"
Expresso moved closer to her than every other person. He was aroused by information he never knew.
"The Founou plant has a total of thirty-three aura it could release, means that there are a total of thirty-three liquids that could set them off. For this particular need, we are using the goo from the splinter worms."
"Interesting," Itsuki said, folding his arms.
"Now, I'd pick some of these and take them to my black room to work on them," Jona said.
"Could we join you in there?" Marie said.
"You don't need to, just find comfortable spots in my living room and wait for me to get done," she said and spoke some words to the thorny mesh, and they disengaged from each other, creating space for her to enter.
Launa was already done bathing Glowie and they all watched Jona pick the shurbs.
When she was done, she took them back inside and stopped at a black door with a writing OUT OF BOUNDS on it, while the rest of them went into the living room to wait.
In the living room, since they had nothing to discuss, they took time to look around the house, seeing pictures of Jona and her dog. The dog was a Siberian Husky, and it touched Launa so deeply that the dog was no more.
She stood looking up at it when Trevor came to her.
"You seem to have a lot of passion for animals than humans," Trevor said.
She turned to him in shock. "No, why do you say that?"
"It's not that difficult to read. At times I wished Glowie never came with us cause you give her a lot of attention," Trevor said.
"And how does it affect you? Wait--" She paused for a second, looked around the living room and saw no one listened to them. She turned back to Trevor. "Are you hitting on me?" She said in a low tone.
Trevor had his eyes bulged out for a second when he heard that, then he calmed his mind, staring at her, unable to say a word.
