Chapter Nineteen: Isabella spending the weekend

(Ava's Pov) I talked to Isabella earlier and she's staying the weekend. I went to train with the pack and chose Jake as my sparring partner. I swing left at Jake's face and hit him. He punches to the right real fast and I dodged just in time. I punched his leg, then kicked his legs from under him. He got back up real fast and punched my left arm.

Mom came over to me and asked to talk privately. I said "What's wrong" and she said "Nothing's wrong I just came to tell you that Isabella is here." Scarlet happily howls softly and I walk back over to Jake to finish sparring. I shifted first which gave me an advantage to grab him. I grabbed his leg and started dragging him. Once, he shifted I quickly let go and got into battle form. He jumped over me and I jumped knocking him over.

Dad yelled that training was done early due to some circumstances. As I was headed to the house dad called me to come back for a few. He said "We need to go to the pack doctor to get a checkup with your genes." I gave him a pissed off glance, before we left.

The doctor called us back as soon as we got there. Dr. Louis took some blood to do tests and asked me multiple questions. When the tests came back I knew something was wrong. Dr. Louis said "You've inherited your mom's special alpha powers." I thought about what was said trying to make sense of everything. I knew something was up because I've felt stronger and my reflexes/senses have increased.
