[Sorry for another short chapter needed to get some things settle while doing a little research on scenes I forgot about or didn't really care for in the show]
[Luca's POV 4 months later]
The train to Beacon was boring other than 'Barf boy and the glimpse of Blake Bellabo-dona my bad was breathe-taking the fan-fics and show didn't do Blake justice in the looks department sad to say I think she might of caught me and looked uncomfortable damn I'm going to have to step up my game and not look like a weirdo.' Yang decides to elbow Lucas. "Already checking the hotties out arn't ya Lucy hehe just make sure you don't drool on her lover boy." "Damn it Yang I'm not drooling and don't make it sound like I'm some Casanova because we both know I'm not social enough do flirt or talk long enough to someone to make it to flirting. We both know your the flirty one and Ruby's the weapon nerd." "Okay okay Lucas no need to bite my head off but do try to be more social like you are at home." *sighs* "I'll try Yang but you won't catch me Yanging around." Lucas grins and high fives Yang while poor Ruby groans from beside Yang. "Oh come on you two those puns are terrible." "Don't you mean Yang-able? hehe" Yang says and many people around them groan.
"Alright enough with the puns you guys we're almost there and I want to meet up with my friends." Says Yang and she picks up her bag and walks to the door. "Already planning to ditch us Yang such a mean sister." Lucas teases Yang as he steps beside her. 'well things are going the same as canon but not looking forward to Cardin and his goons.' As the three of them get of the train Yang is quick to run off while Lucas is helping Ruby with her bags Lucas hears a commotion behind him. 'Oh great the scene where Weiss is being Weiss.' He turns around him and just watches as everything goes down and follows Ruby and Juane walk to the gymnasium to listen to the boring nonsense that is Ozpin. After that is over Lucas, Ruby, and jaune find a place to put their sleeping bags for the night.
After setting up Yang takes Ruby to make friends with Blake as Lucas goes out to the balcony to get some fresh air and plan out what to do tomorrow. As he leans against the railing he starts to hum a random song from his past life. 'well tomorrow is gonna be interesting I wonder which team I'll be on maybe a solo like in the fan-fics where that ends up a thing where he'd work with multiple teams.' While he off in his own little world Nora is annoying Ren talking about pancakes for breakfast or something.
[Next morning at the cliff}
"well, hope I can get a good landing and find my partner." Lucas mutters to himself as Jaune isn't getting any answers from Ozpin. Meanwhile Goodwitch is observing Lucas wondering why Ozpin wanted him in their school only getting "Because I have a feeling this Lucas will be key to our problems." whatever that means she didn't think the boy was special from what she can see but if Ozpin sees something then she just has to trust his judgement.
After Ozpin launches the newest 'victims' he means students (not) he pulls a tablet out and watches the newest student Lucas change into a owl in mid-air and sail through the air towards the ruins. "Interesting maybe a new semblance or maybe that weird feeling from him earlier was magic since I felt what felt like pure magic from the boy." Ozpin turns and heads back inside with Glynda following after him.
[Luna's POV]
"So he has noticed Lucas already shame really wanted Lucas to keep a low profile until he had more prep handled but oh well after he's settled I'll give him the first task I want him to complete." Luna says and she takes a bite of cake while watching Lucas from her mirrior.
[Lucas Pov (sorry guys for the constant switches)]
As Lucas soars through the air he lands shifting back to his human form and unfolds his scythe as he comes up to the ruins and finds most of the pieces already claimed he turned and grabbed a black king piece and heads back to the cliff. 'Shame i couldn't find anyone to partner up with didn't want to mess up canon with taking someone elses partner ...oh well.'
