Do You Want To Level Up?

Sometimes fear does its magic of extracting every ounce of strength from the human body at the time of need. Ivan was able to climb to some twenty feet on the tree before he heard a rustling in the nearby bushes. Ivan first and foremost checked if the branch to his right was able to bear the combined weight of Ivan and the bimbo.

"It seems just right," Ivan helped himself sitting on it diagonally while holding the woman in his arms as he rested his back on the trunk behind him.

Only after that did Ivan gave any mind to the attention-seeking wolf down on the ground growling at them.

It was getting dark, making it harder for Ivan to see, but he could vaguely make out the shape of the wolf. It was one and half a meter tall, which was very big considering the largest-sized wold back on earth; the Mackenzie valley wolf was only a meter tall on adulthood.

"Grrrrr....!" It was looking right at them and growling.

"Go away, bro... Wolves are my favorite kind of animal. Please don't annoy me, or I might kill you." Ivan wasn't kidding. He liked wolves back on heart and had even planned to raise one as a pet in the future when he could buy a house in the countryside.

But no matter what he said, it kept on growling towards them, but then it smelled the two dead nestlings. The wolf started enjoying the free snack.

Ivan could only sigh. He wasn't even in the mood of feeling anger because of what he had gone through the whole day. The woman also started snoring in his arms.

"Its good to be ignorant of the danger; at least you can have some sleep," Ivan said as he checked the head of the bimbo for any injuries.

"Just a slight bump on the back of your head, you are not even bleeding, wake up already." With nothing to do, Ivan could only bring up his status screen.

Ivan was shocked to see so many notifications appearing below his status screen. He read them and thought if the system was even needed to ask his permission for a level up.

"Yes, level up, ASAP," Ivan said aloud. It seems the system can understand his language, or the status screen had a voice recognition program built inside of it like SIRII or ALEXAA.

Ivan felt something cold and warm rising inside his heart before spreading to every corner of his body. It felt like he was cloud nine.

But the feeling was only momentary. It vanished almost in three seconds.

He was looking at the description given by the system about the new Ability, the Store, the Inventory, and the Quest Board. Ivan naturally rolled his eyes at the system for treating him as a sex offender, a pedophile, and peeping Tom.

"Why would I even abduct little girls?" Ivan wasn't a lolicon. But he was indeed a little bit disappointed about not being able to have an ability to see through clothes. He looked at the bombshell lady who was peacefully sleeping in his arms while resting her head on his chest. From his position, Ivan could very well appreciate her deep cleavage and the considerable size of her soft and silky bosom.

'She may not be a bimbo, but the woman is a cow in her previous life.' Ivan said after checking out her huge assets. As for doing something as shameless as to peep someone bathing is utterly... possible. It depends on the person bathing inside the bathroom.

Ivan was, of course, happy to get something useful from the system that could help him in surviving this ordeal.

"But why am I still an apprentice warrior?" Ivan thought that he would promote to become something like a real warrior. Had he thought wrong? There were also the Mana points that seemed to be locked. Maybe this world doesn't have any magic; therefore, the system locked it, or he still has to unlock it, that can also be the case.

First, he needs to use the two extra stats that he got from the level up to enhance one of his stats.

'To get out of the forest as fast as possible, I need speed, and to increase my survivability needs to increase the vitality stat. Others can wait until I can get out of the forest.' Ivan thought. His health was not full, so he needs to put a stats point in vitality to get two health points.

But before that, Ivan opened the inventory and the other functions to see what he got from the system. Quest Board was still updating so Ivan could only wait to check it at the last.

There were two icons on the right top corner of the space in which all the text seems to appear. Ivan tried thinking of opening the inventory icon with the symbol of a warehouse.

Ivan saw something change in his mind. He felt the inventory as if he was directly connected to it but couldn't see it in reality.

When Ivan closed his eyes, he found himself floating in a space with an illusory black and grey border. He saw some items floating in the area as if they were held in the air by some force.

It was the first supernatural experience for Ivan after coming to this world. Transmigration is not counted because he didn't feel or see the process at all.
