"Uninvited?"

Rumble of thunder.

Those were the first words that came to my mind upon hearing that one word.

I blinked, startled at the male who suddenly appeared before me. Instantly I regretted walking so slow. 

From how richly dressed this male was and the air of authority I understood that he is most likely the uninvited guest. 

For the moment all I could see the lower part of his chest, too afraid to even lift my head further.

To think he had walked directly into my boudoir like the owner unhindered. 

Well, no one would be able to stop him if they tried or even dare. Still, I felt both fear and threatened. 

The first urge I felt was to flee a safe distance while the second urge was for me to simply attack. 

My gaze darted around, clenching my free hand at my side to stay stable.

If the fear rising before muddled my mind, the fear clawed at my entire form now.
